Synopsis

When they were little kids, Yuujirou Matsukaze rescued the poor Rui Hanamine from an unlucky incident. It was love at first sight for Yuujirou, and from that moment on, he knew that he had to protect Rui at all costs.

Now in high school, Rui stands tall at 186 centimeters and is strongly attached to Yuujirou, who is conscious of his height of only 165 centimeters. Despite knowing each other for so long, Rui remains oblivious to Yuujirou's feelings, and Yuujirou cannot bring himself to express his emotions. But as they grow more aware of what they feel deep inside, the harder it gets to contain their sweet sentiments for each other.

Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cute short story. Even the characters are not extraordinary their relationship is adorable and not toxic/abusive in anyway.

Art:
The art is great and it's a good read for passing the time when you're in need of light fluffy stories.

Story:
Nothing crazy but it definitely wasn't boring to read. The dynamic is what got me to read this initially because it's not something I see often and it ended up being great. The conflict was not too serious or long term which was nice because I was not looking for a real slow burn story.

I can't stress enough how perfect this was! One of the BEST stories I've ever read. I can't count the amount of times I laughed so hard at them being so silly and cute and just so innocently adorable. Everything about it is just too great. All the characters here are so funny, relatable, and sweet. I'ma call our characters Yuu and Hana 'coz their names were too long. Looking at the first few panels, you can tell it’s a comedy. I sometimes find it hard to combine romance with comedy, because romantic feelings are tender and delicate, and jokes or silly behaviour can take you away from the plot. But as it’s only eight chapters long, I decided to give it a go.

This story is about two childhood friends who are secretly in love with each other. One is a tall, fair-haired guy who’s always smiling and being friendly to everyone, and the other is a short, dark-haired guy who’s always complaining and being grumpy.
