This got too long to keep in notes so i moved it here. Anyways, 4 main points I disliked about Ao Ashi:
1-The first half was painful to get through, I was watching in 1.5x speed and skipping practically half the episodes. The MC was so unbearable to watch. Every tine he opened his mouth, it was just to spew some chunni BS. His nonsense screaming dialed down a LOT after getting a much needed reality check. That was ofc in the latter half which made it a decent enough watch.
2-This show relies heavily on suspension of disbelief, cuz ain't no way in hell Aoi should've

made it into Esperion (especially since the anime is trying to do a realistic depiction of the cutthroat world of football). They literally had to teach him the basics that even the grade schooler members of the club know.
3-It's obvious the author is going for the cliche underdog to top guy trope but it rings hollow as MC starts off in a very advantageous (and undesereved) position with the most prominent youth club in Japan. The speed of his growth and development and the perfect environment he's in feel like a cheat code, completely taking away from the satisfaction usually derived from watching the rise of the underdog.
4-The "romance" was just the cherry on top. The only two relevant female characters just had to develop romantic feelings for MC after interacting ONCE cuz ofc shonen. And as if that doesn't undermine them enough as charcters, they just to be brocons as well. BOTH of them. Anime is never beating the allegations.
The first half of Ao Ashi was so terrible, it had me contemplating dropping this anime multiple times. However, the second half was genuinely not bad. As someone who loved playing football as a kid, I liked seeing the tactical and analysis driven plays and how all postions were given their time to shine because surprise surprise football isn't all about forwards and scoring goals (ahem blue lock ahem).

Apartheid, discrimination, human trafficking, pedophilia, grooming, SA and many more gutting sociopolitical issues are not what I expected coming into this. Gachiakuta is a story about the way humans treat objects depending on their estimated value being reflected in how they treat other humans. If you're born on the right side of the wall then you're a valuable member of society, otherwise you're trash to be discarded.
Additionally, what stood out to me the most is how the child characters were handled with great care, not once does the author let you forget that they're kids, they'll act like kids and you shall see them
...
as such. A resounding clapback to the normalized sexualisation of children in Japanese media.
It doesn't hurt that the artstyle and charcter design is the best I've seen in a while. It's usually either brainless eye candy or a thinkpiece with average artsyyle, but Gachiakuta gives you the best of both worlds.
I can't wait for the next season, and hopefully we'll discover more about the side characters cuz they all seem so interesting (especially Corvus and Tamsy)

My expectations were too high, this is the typical weird anime for weird nerds that you could never recommend to a newbie. I guess I'm too sane to really enjoy the horny crazy nonsense that is Dandadan.
If it weren't for mappa hard carrying with the absolutely jaw dropping animation I wouldn't have made it past the forth episode. THAT ONE SCENE in Acrobatic silky's backstory still gives me chills.
If you like shonen with a quick paced, chaotic and simple plot line (plus a lot of innuendos and horniness) you'll enjoy this one. I tend to prefer stories that develop through the growth of smartly written

characters whereas dandadan is the opposite of that.
Also nasty fucking cliffhanger now I have to watch the 2nd Season which I wasn't even planning on doing (yes I see the bait and yes I'm taking it)
It's really subjective with this one, you'll either like it or not. I guess if you enjoyed Kill la kill you'll also like this one? Cuz in my case. I liked neither.

Aaahhh yuri!!! Would've rated it higher if not for 2 things:
1- We didn't get to hear the members play as much as the previous seasons which was frustrating. Though maybe that was the point; to keep the viewers lookigng forward and anticipating the final performance.
2- The fact that Reina choosing Mayu made no sense. After all, she said many times herself that Kumiko is better and while kumiko has akmolowdge that her confusion about her career affected her playing, she had already made up her mind about her career path by the time of the soli audition vs Mayu. So she should've played as well
...
if not better than what Reina was used to hearing. In the end it seemed like a forced plot line for additional drama and tension.
Overall 8/10, very enjoyable and fun to analyse as each character is written so well and their interactions are all so interesting.

Obnoxious, boring, generic; that's how I'd succinctly summarise Hell's Paradise. But since there is a word count minimum limit, allow me to break it down for you.
<>Characters:
-The MC is Gabimaru, he has a wife and he is hallow, that's all you need to know.
-The female characters, for the first 10 episodes (aka the whole damn show practically) can be put in two categories: Fanserverice or damsel in distress. Sagiri and Yuzuriha manage to get their shit together in the last 2 episodes though.
-The male characters are very basic shonen tropes; you've got the man-child, the oresama, the sus brothers, the white haired teacher
...
to name a few.
<>Plot:
It's just battle shonen, and a very boring one at that since Gabimaru is covered so tightly with plot armor, the outcome of a fight is decided before it even starts. The villains also possess negative IQ and ramble on and on about secret techniques and freely give out important information, making it even easier for the MC to power up. Side characters get their little bit of screen time and a flashback before they fuck off to the afterlife.
Animation is good just as you'd expect from MAPPA but even that wasn't enough to save this absolute shitshow.
It really stands to show how the anime industry is going to shit if the likes of Jigokuraku is dubbed as the cream of the crop of its season when it's so below average.
So if you are an experienced shonen fan or have a higher IQ than that of a teenager, don't waste your time on this cliche mess.

I've always been a sucker for post apocalyptic stories, so I've read my fair share of such thematics. As such Heavenly Delusion didn't strike me as "exceptional" as most reviews seem to insinuate.
The first episode did a good job of setting the mood and hooking the audience, the world-building was interesting, and the mystery was captivating. But at some point, all of it seems to stagnate. All the characters have been revealed, the build-up was at its peak but the show kept dragging on while refusing to reveal any further information.
At that point, the novelty of it all wears off, revealing how under all

that pretense mystery was the creator's thinly veiled fetishes. All the sexual dark scenes were nothing but the result of the creator's self-indulgence and not the psychological analysis they were trying to pose as.
The ending especially was such a heavy disappointment as it failed to live up to all the build-up leading to it, revolving instead around another useless sexual assault scene that concludes with the infamously clichéd knight in shining armour saving the damsel in distress trope.
In summary, my biggest complaint about the show was how much hype it built up around the world and characters in the beginning, only to leave us hanging at the end; not in the "wow I can't wait for the 2nd season" kind of way and more like "damn they're jsut milking every bit of attention they're getting at this point".

A dudebro anime, that's Oshi no ko. No depth, no premise, just a bunch of bug eyed teenage girls with no personality.
Though the first episode was interesting, the rest was a free fall to garbage land. We were promised a story of revenge, a chase to uncover the truth, but all we got instead was superficial teenage melodrama. No offense to anyone who enjoys that, however it is decidedly not my cup of tea.
The characters were super boring. Noting but generic and cliche sob stories narrated again and again with the hope that repetition would make them sympathetic.

Mushishi, a unique show with a unique premise, is one of the best works of art the anime industry has to offer. It's a full package deal with phenomenal world-building, storytelling and mood setting. Additionally, it provides the viewers with breath-taking visuals and scenery apace with a gentle and blissful soundtrack. In short, watching mushishi feels like a holy sensory experience.
Episodic anime are not usually my cup of tea, as most of them seem like a journey with no destination. However, mushishi proves to be an exception as each and every episode is a whole journey on and of its own.

guy Ginko, most of the characters are never to be seen again. Nonetheless, all of them are fleshed out really well with interesting and unique backstory, alongside just the right amount of angst and hardships that only serve to make them that much more relatable and sympathetic. Honestly, props to the creator for their massive brain and phenomenal creativity.
Now, on to the MC. Ginko, being the only constant throughout the whole show, is a very likeable and entertaining main character. He may seem monotone and emotionless (kuudere) at first, but the more the story progresses the more his true personality shines through and you get to see how much he truly cares and enjoys what he does, which in turn makes you enjoy it just as much.
10/10 must watch and 1000/10 recommendation for new anime watchers as it has none of the typical anime cringe.

The beginning was very promising. The whole idea behind Project Blue Lock seemed interesting, though from a realistic point of view quite foolish and childish.
However my main gripe with this show was the pacing. During every match and without failure, every move and thought process is over-explained and over-analysed until all the momentum of the previous action gets lost. It's all build-up without peak, which in turn just leaves you frustrated and unfulfilled.
To make things worse, they just just had to add melodrama on top of it all. Why are these teenagers dramatically breaking up with each other, or in some cases with

the monster inside of them? Why are they all having an existential crisis in the middle of the match? Even our main guy Isagi, cosigned with the one and only Ego as an Average Joe, dismantles and rebuilds himself every episode or so. This guy just took learn and adapt to a whole new level.
Also the damn vocabulary used in this anime makes me want to bite my fingers off from the second hand embarrassment. How can these guys talk about being a hero or a king, about creating "chemical reactions" together, about "devouring" each other and not just die from cringe?? Well I guess they're teenagers after all and well that's as good of an excuse as any for such behaviour.
Now, the animation was all over the place. Awkward still frames and rigid CGI on some parts, but fluid 2D and stunning visuals on others. The art definitely played a huge role in saving the day as it's quiet phenomenal. Character design is absolutely stunning and leaves nothing to complain about.
Lastly, Ego. This guy single-handedly carrying the title of the biggest bitch on this show. Every time he opens his damn mouth, I wonder how come he made it alive so far when he's just begging for a beating.
For a football anime, Blue Lock was more talking than ball kicking but well it had its fun moments which saved it from being an utter bore to watch.

In simple straightforward terms, this season was utter garbage. It's definitely DEFINITELY not the worst the anime industry has ever put out there, but I tend to stear clear of those. However, I found myself wasting my time watching this shit show get worse with every episode but still hanging on to the hope that maybe just MAYBE it'll come to deliver just half of what season 1 achieved. Of course, episode 13 wound up leaving nothing but bitter disappointment behind its wake.

following:
-Plot: Operation Strix seemingly was put on the back burner for everyone concerned, except for little miss Anya who was trying her damndest to still see it through. All that just to introduce some "action" that only a 10 year old would actually find entertaining. The comedy attempt was pathetic. Again, maybe a kid would find something to laugh at but that's all it could amount to.
-Characters: The main three weren't the focus of this season as they put more interest into introducing new characters to fill out the script and prolong the show's duration. The new characters were all horrible, flat and 2 dimensional. It was apparent that not much thought was put into writing them as they were meant to make a brief appearance and be forgotten just as quickly.
-Development: Not much of it happened in this season, which was the main reason behind my disappointment. We don't get many family moments when the main point of this show was the found family trope. Even less, we don't see how their hidden identities would interfer with keeping up the normal average family façade. This was the main attraction that Spy x Family had, but it was forfeited in favor of bland cliche tropes.
All in all, not worth watching. Would've been more satisfied with season 1 being my last memory of this anime, unfortunately mistakes were made.
