Season 1 of SAO is split into two parts. It starts amazing, but unfortunately, it gets questionable.
To cover the whole show first, the animation is stellar. That’s partly why SAO was such a big thing! So no surprise. It’s genuinely beautiful at times. When they don’t skip fights, they look really sick as well. The score is also so serene. Helps make some of the beautiful settings soar even more. Helps the fight scenes be even more kick ass. The characters are what makes the show. They are all done so well. They’re so lovable and you root for most of them really fast. They

A Ghibli-esque tragic tale of the realities of war. With a beautiful analogy and a little avant-garde.
This film is beautiful. Undeniably. But in the most heartbreaking way. Without a doubt it’s a protest piece. It delivers its message so clearly. Sometimes showing you it directly. Sometimes represented in analogy. The main analogy in this film is done so well. You can tell what they’re starting to get at pretty soon. By the end of the film you fully understand what they’re getting at. Does a really good job at keeping you engaged, while not letting you fully figure it out until the end. The animation/style ... A truly beautiful film. Every part of this film brings it’s absolute A game. The animation/art is breathtaking. So many good scenery shots. The music is amazing and adds so much to many scenes. Sound design in general helps fuel the movie. Characters are very endearing. You’ll fall in love with all of them quickly. The story is incredible. Just a completely unique and original film.
There’s a reason this film is held in such amazing regards. You haven’t seen anything like it. You will feel so many emotions through this journey. From extreme chills to the happiest tears. It’s a film I think anyone (even ... Aug 14, 2026
The end of an incredibly zany family friendly adventure.
This show is super fun. It’s ridiculous, but has so much heart. Very clearly made for kids. However, can be enjoyed by all. The animation style is very cute and unique. The characters are also adorable. Truly lovable mascots. What makes it so enjoyable is how creative it can be. It genuinely does some fun and unique gags. Paired with (again) a strangely really cool style. I’ll admit it can feel a bit repetitive at times. There’s a few animations that are recycled MANY times. A lot of jokes are reused too. It doesn’t really get ... Aug 14, 2026

Gunsmith Cats is a visual treat. The animation and character designs are perfect. A beautifully 90s vibe. The music is just as stellar and adds so much to the scenes. The action easily tops some of the big animes of today. However, the story is rather lackluster.
The story is definitely something you’ve seen before. That’s not to say it isn’t interesting and endearing. Just go into this for everything around the story. The story is a fry and everything else is the ketchup. It does have it’s suspenseful moments though. Probably the best thing it does in a story regard. Most of the characters are ... Feb 11, 2025

I didn’t expect much just thought it was another cute romance. But I saw some clips and it just seemed so wholesome and I hadn’t watched a rom com in forever so I gave it a try! And wow! It definitely has some moments in the first few episodes that are questionable but by episode 4 you are HOOKED! It’s definitely a standout episode. The show is just a very wholesome and comedic journey. My biggest complaint is near the end. The last big conflict is an issue that doesn’t seem like the outcome that happens needed to happen. But luckily you get the whole
