It has an alright plot going for it but at the same time I feel like there are major racist undertones. I don't think the female lead herself is racist but everyone around her sure feels like it. I believe it has also shown the male lead to be a slave trader which is just really weird. The plot hasn't really been built up yet but there are vague ideas of said plot. Season 1 was really good but as season 2 came around it got really rushed and skipped a lot of things that would've made the plot work better plus I low-key high-key hate amnesia arcs. I wanna say not recommended but season 1 was really fun and silly and I enjoyed binge reading that then waiting for season 2 to come out. (I think? I might've started reading it after season 2 started?) I wanna recommend this because I loved the idea and plot + the villain but the problem kinda is that it had to little time. I feel like with more chapters it could've had more depth into it.. "Fortune-Telling Lady" is kind of this but with more time and that's what I like about it. I think I would've loved the villain if there had been more hints or the female lead showing a small amount more of suspicion. So i'm gonna be a Debby Downer but first of all I want to say things I like about this anime! The artstyle is super pretty and I love the unique outro a lot. It gives the anime a lot more life than you could probably realize on the surface. Also it's just a nice show you can just watch in the background. I think I can recommend this with a light heart. The first half is really good but I didn't really like how they kept introducing characters that seem like they'll be more important just to get rid of them. (The dwarves for one. It seems like they went through that traumatizing situation for nothing and now they're just making weapons in the background. I really enjoy this manhwa a lot. It took me forever to start reading it (it's been on my plan to read list since 2022...) but it was so worth it. The artstyle may not be for everyone but I loved it with this manhwa. It's perfect for a story with a siren. I loved the end at the start where it was her death but she went back in time. It makes sense she would go to the Valentines because of that. Even if it was the end of her life he saved her from the cage and let her have a happy ending.

Overall a really good manhwa! I'm not sure if it's romance but if it is it is far from the main aspect it focuses on. If you like childcare and cultivation manhwa this is a mix of both and it's really well written. The female lead is "weak" and has a broken qi which she has to get past. She has reincarnated (pretty sure) and regressed which both pair well together for this. A minor villain who held a grudge against her father but went back and wanted to make things right. This manhwa was really good but the ending fumbled so hard then it was left open because side stories couldn't come out. I don't blame the artist or author but it still kinda hurts since I really enjoyed this manhwa a lot. Trust me it's a really good story even compared to the original but my god did they have to draw that many sexualized scenes. It was mainly the first volume that did that but I still feel weird about it. The designs are good though even if they should NOT be on teenagers.
