Without any spoilers, I must say that Boruto TBV has already lived up to its hype.
Phenomenal time skip, which is something that we saw within Naruto, however, it's perfectly dark. Boruto has gone through changes, and has completely changed as a character, and honestly, I'm living for it. TBV has done a great job introducing dark tones in the Naruto/Boruto franchise, and honestly I'm happy that Boruto isn't just a happy jolly kid like Naruto was.
He's gone through things, he's changed, and he understands the weight of things... all while being 16(ish). With TBV, I doubt we'll be getting the 'power of friendship'

Wow. When I started reading this, I never could have thought it could be this much better than the anime. I started off reading the anime, and quickly realized what a slop it was. So, I decided to try the manga.
I really liked the idea of Boruto, and saw that he had some really good development, even early on. He starts as an annoying kid, but you kind of learn to understand him and through his growth, you appreciate it. The one downside to this manga, is that it does stray more away from the basic aspects of a ninja. Of course, with evolving technology ...

Yea, i love the Boruto manga, but the anime is a slop.
Horrible pacing, inconsistent animation, and atrocious filler arcs. Read the manga if you genuinely want to enjoy the peak that Boruto has to offer, but you will not find that from the manga. A lot of people had high hopes for the Boruto anime, but unfortunately it fell victim to Studio Pierrot and their money grab of weekly episodes. Genuinely would have been far better had it been a seasonal anime and not just a load of filler crap. This manga was... well interesting. After some time has passed since me reading it, all I can say about it is that I remember how down right stupid it was, especially the anime, but don't even get me started on that 'cause I dropped it. From the synopsis, the plot seems interesting, like something that hasn't really been used before, but that's about it.
Characters look... also interesting. However, there is a plus that the characters themselves are also interesting. In a good way though. I can't really say that they made up for most of the supidity, but I can say that there were ...

Without a doubt, this will forever be the manga with the biggest impact. Even after review bombs, AoT has remained one of the highest rated mangas and animes. Yes, it truly deserves that title.
Without spoiling anything, AoT truly has one of the best plots, in fact, I would say that it's one of the few manga that are actually just as enjoyable, if not more enjoyable when rereading it. You'll pick up on things that you didn't notice the first time you've watched it, maybe you'll come to a deeper understanding of some characters, and perhaps you'll even completely change your view on the manga. ...

Honestly, was a fun manga from the beginning to the end. There are things that could have been done better for the ending, but as a shonen manga, it has to follow certain guidelines I'm sure, and I still think that it had a great run.
Good comedy, fun fights, and kept me coming back each week. I would certainly say that within the past few years, this has been one of the better shonen manga. If you're looking for an enjoyable manga with enjoyable characters, super cool designs, and a somewhat serious but also comedic tone, then Kaiju no. 8 will be a good read.

Honestly, I only give this a 10 because of how cute it is. There isn't necessarily a plotline, it's just a bunch of small stories, and each chapter is a new short story that follows along Shirokuma's day.
It's cute, it's silly, and it's a quick read, so if you're looking for something you can easily knock out in a day or two and something that it fun, this would be it. If you're learning Japanese, buy the japanese manga for it. It has a bunch of panels that teaches you different words that either sound the same or look the same. I'm not learning ... |
