This shit is so ahh...
- I had to speedrun it with half my brain off, this marks every possible red flag in a romance manga ever.
- The story is boring, cliché and predictable.
- The female protag is spineless and your typical hateable damsel in distress.
- The male protag is a loserboy.
...
- It eventually becomes a harem (only 14 chapters btw)
- They have sexual tension since chapter 1, yet they have 0 communicational skills so the manga ends with them not being together yet.
- The "supporting" characters are annoying as fuck and destroy every progress ever made
- The setup is incredibly unrealistic and all the students exist to act like they have severe autism and make your blood boil (except the male student council president, that guy is ok).
- Fanservice
- It presents and foreshadows characters that seem like they'll be important in the future, yet they don't ever appear again and the manga ends (I'm sure this bullshit was axed, ngl I would too if I was the editor).
- Hell even the dialogues are absolute trash, they talk like kindergarteners and can't seem to finish a sentence properly.
- art is goonbait.
Ngl gang the only way to make this worse is making it longer, those were the most excruciating 14 chapters I have read in my entire life.

Fair warning: this review might be a little biased considering the amount of time I spent on it. If the let-down bomb that was dropped on me was earlier in the series and not in goddamn chapter 74 maybe I wouldn't have been this harsh.
To sum it up in a way that doesn't say what other reviews already said; this manga depicts how 2 socially awkward people help each other to become... not socially awkward. I know, has been done, will be done again, but as always there's multiple ways to make it right, as there are to make it wrong, this falls on the
...
latter, since some of the tags around this work are just blatant lies, particularly, that "romance" one.
The main plot collides negatively with the world around it, making it imposible to coexist with eachother. To put it in a more casual language: MC and FMC want to grow as people, while the rest of the world wants them to be lovers. Simple as that. And it worked for a while until I was reading the same chapter I read 15 chapters ago but with another context.
I don't want to make this long so I'll just drop the bomb I told you about at the start of the review and leave you to consider if you should start reading this or not (huge spoiler warning):
Chapter 74, post-Valentines Day, MC confesses to FMC... that he wants to be his friend.
This chapter perfectly sums up not only the pace of the romance but the pace of the character growth too. And it leaves it clear to me that I should not be wasting any more time on this.
The side characters are shit and useless, I'm not gonna sugarcoat it.
The art is alright I guess.
So that's it. If you like snail paced stories that also bait you, be my guest. At least you won't get baited anymore since you read this review LoL.

Maybe it was because I read it 7 years after it's release but I can't stop thinking how this is a product of it's time and it didn't age well.
First of all let's start with my main problem, the main characters and their dynamic. I'm so goddamn tired of the wuss boy/violent girl trope it's not even funny. How I would pay for some romance manga that doesn't center around beta male behaviour and gives the mc some bits of self respect, i still to this day don't understand how hitting someone and calling them an "idiot" for something that wasn't even their fault is
...
funny, but enough rambling about me.
That trope in itself is most of the commedy and you're not gonna be enjoying 80% of the manga if you are not engaged with that.
The other elefant in the room is the second love interest, which is one of the reddest flags i've seen as of late. You just know that mc and fmc will end up together at the end with just some common sense, but how the story managed to push the second female so deep into it just for some quick comedy is disgusting. She's the definition of "No hard feelings if I fuck your boyfriend", and I can't possibly imagine some actual real life scenario where she doesn't end up labeled as human scum. But then again this is japanese romance we're talking about, it's more like a fantasy manga.
The final topic about the story I wanna talk about is the yet again overused format of "becoming a couple in the last chapter". It's really not that hard to write a decent "becoming a couple" chapter and then KEEP THE MANGA GOING. Of course I'm not talking about overstaying their welcome because at some point the manga needs to end, and having only 24 chapters in a world where most slop reaches the 300 mark is very respectable, but you gotta understand, we only get one epilogue where they not only show some GRAINS of their new dynamic and it doesn't feel fulfilling at all, most of the chapter is about THE SECOND LOVE INTEREST TRYING TO MESS WITH THEM AGAIN. The focus of the manga was clearly the commedy and the romance developments had no important part in it.
It feels like most mangakas nowadays just want to appeal to a certain niche of people who enjoy a certain niche of tropes and just leave it at that, with no focus on storytelling and engaging writing elements other than comedy (which is already a hit or miss in most cases) and ecchi elements (which sure this manga has but not enough to feel invasive, i'll give them that).
The artwork is alright. I'm pretty sure the mangaka is the same author of "A Story About a Grandpa and Grandma Returned Back to Their Youth" (that one's way better than this) which I like and don't mind too much.
I hope my point about cliches, overused tropes and a need of change in the manga scene, gets across and you get what I'm saying, even if you disagree and actually enjoy this manga.

I'm dropping this since I feel like I've seen enough.
You like jokes about boobs? This is for you.
You like one-dimensional characters with little to no development between any combination between them? This is for you.
You like mangas simple enough to be read in autopilot? This is for you.
If the answer was no for at least one of those three, then you're gonna have a decently rough time reading this, cuz I promise you there's NOTHING ELSE in the general aspect of it. In my case it was no for all three questions so you can kinda guess what my experience with it was.

tho, even if it is very simplistic, the art is great and original.
There's some pretty good r34 doujins about this piece anyways, so there's something of value that can be salvaged from this if you're only interested in that boobs part.
Honestly I should stop trying to forceread mangas expecting something to happen or just to fill my list like it's a curriculum, no one will be impressed just because I finished this anyway.

This is my first review. I wasn't planning on reviewing anything anytime soon because I don't really care, that should tell you how bad this is.
For starters and people who want to give this manga a chance, I want to clarify that this manga carries itself solely on the comedy aspect of it, but not because it is good, but because it is THE ONLY THING GOING ON FOR IT. Everything else is just one big mess that doesn't go anywhere and doesn't intend to whatsoever.
Let me start with the main characters, they are nothing new, the stereotypical Ojou-Sama and the much more overused loner
...
beta-boy MC. We can kind of predict how the story goes only with this much information, because that's ALL WE GET. The most of a backstory we get is the FMC's lonely life because their parent's don't give 2 gargles about her (Yeah you can predict that trope too, it's an Ojou-Sama after all). But it should be wise to clarify that other aspect about this Ojou-Sama is that she's madly obsessed with our MC, to the point where she actively meddles with and disturbs his daily life.
In that detail is where the comedy lives in, an eccentric Ojou-Sama runing awol into a poor nobody's life. Which has been used in the past, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be used again if it's good. Which I'd say it's fairly decent in this case.
The root problem on the manga lies in the MC. He's the main culprit of this mess. While trying to keep everything normal, in the parts that matter, he lacks all possible common sense. This however wouldn't be a problem if he was part of the comedy and didn't actually care for a serious route to happen, but that's just not the case. He's constantly trying to be serious about the ridiculous and nonsensical nature of everything going on around him, and trying to make the FMC realize just how ridiculous she's being, but losing all that credibility multiple times in multiple chapters by deciding "You know what? Just for today, i'll get on with her crazy antics", and repeating the cycle.
You either make this a serious manga, or you make it a comedy, you CAN actually mix the two and expect it to work well, but I assure you this is not the case.
The plot (if it exists) is all over the place too, unreasonable things (like exaggerated power abuse due to money, to mention something) happen all the time and everyone inside the manga (except the FMC) are aware of it, which is big part of the comedy, and there wouldn't be any problem with it if it wasn't because the serious parts are ALSO incredibly unreasonable, to the point where that's unintentional comedy in itself, because again, the main "normal" person of this story, lacks common sense.
The art style is fine I guess, I really don't pay much attention to that if the story is good, Mob Psycho taught me that.
To end my review, I want to say that I feel like this could have been so much more if the serious aspects of it weren't irrational and actually drove the plot to something more, like the journey of self-discovery of one another, or the FMC trying to understand how to treat normal people and those around her like, well... normal. But those things don't happen, the author decided to bet on the comedy till the very end, and that's it. If you enjoy the comedy on the first chapters you might enjoy the rest, but for me there wasn't anything to laugh at, not even the product itself for how bad it was. It was just... disappointing.
Speaking of horrible stories, I'm off to play Monster Hunter.
