Stories that evoke strong emotions and convey one/multiple "moral of the story".   Psychological drama, occasionally known as dark drama or was related to psychodrama, is a sub-genre of drama that places emphasis on psychological elements. It often overlaps with other genres such as fantasy, black comedy, and science fiction, while the genre is closely related with the psychological horror and psychological thriller genres. Psychological dramas use these genres tropes to focus on the human condition and psychological effects, usually in a mature and serious tone. Denpa, drug abuse, psychological abuse, schizophrenia, depression, loneliness, anxiety, suicidal, manipulative characters, all kinds of mental issues and problems. Includes things like lots of blank space, large scenic panels, little/no text, aloof characters and a general feeling of emptiness. May only contain small snippets of these or the mood may persist throughout the entire series.   All of these have HEAVY topics and lots of trigger warnings.  Introspective manga where people are very sad a lot. Some are heavier than others, all rewrote my brain chemistry and somehow changed my outlook.   Compilation of manga with a significant relationship between older and younger characters in a way that is /not necessarily romantic or sexual/. Some of these will be outright dating, some will be ambiguous, and some will have no indication of romance or sex at all no matter how you stretch it. The common thread is that the relationship between the characters of different ages is very significant whether to them or to the plot. There's no theme as to plot so some are purely fluffy, some are angsty or violent and a few are sexually explicit.   Oneshoot     Manga with on screen corpses and blood but not quite enough fleshy bits to make my gore list. This is a major spoiler for some entries   Manga with child characters of elementary or middle school age. Some entries have explicit content so be warned   Some underrated manga I read recently.
