I don't read a lot of yuri, mostly because whateva few I've read so far have had ASS plots and although great artstyle, hot girls and just good sex (which is mostly jus fingering) there's nothing more to really root for. Murmur is actually a fun yuri in this regard cause I wasn't expecting for a manhwa to have such gorgeous art style, HOT AND BEAUTIFUL WOMEN THAT MAKE ME DROOL, one dude in this entire story who's sole job is for us to hate on bro and genuinely satisfying action for any gooners out there to ACTUALLY have a decent plot which does keep

you engaged beyond the style aspects.
The manhwa slowly but progressively fleshes out the characters, Their actions, the power of their memories and misunderstandings surprisingly effectively. Jin-ah and Heo Jina actually have a certain charm together which makes their back and forth love hate confusing relationship fun and actually curious for you to see take place. It's not all black and white and characters have different emotions and perspectives they go through which will make people root for different characters by the end. This also has the less controversial aspects (only being at the beginning) but again just the right amount of toxicity revenge saga you'd expect.
The plot is still really predictable and not like you don't know what's likely to happen but again it just does whatever the job the manhwa has been assigned to. Galma has really understood even a decent enough story to carry forward is enough for people to instantly get hooked to this cause everything else is just so cute and perfect. There's comedy and it does give you a chuckle because of the whole art style shift, chibi, miniscule cartoonish ahh transitions so even that's something this yuri manages to convey. DO NOT MISS IT and yeah did have a fun time reading through this and gets the whole thing done in 22 chapters which I read in one sitting . It's not perfect but again sometimes you just read a "good" yuri and you'll love it way more than you think you'd have ever thought it to be.
And yeah expecting ANY focus and flesh on characters beyond the fine shyts in a 22 ch yuri and its YOUR FAULT of having such crazy expectations.
