Synopsis

Jiwoo is a kind-hearted young man who harnesses the lightning quick reflexes of a cat to secretly make the world a better place—one saved little child or foster pet at a time. Kayden is a secret agent on the run, who finds himself stuck in the body of a...um...decidedly fat old fluffy cat. Together, armed with Jiwoo's super powers and Kayden's uber-smarts, they're out to fight those forces who would let evil rule this world. That is, if they can stand each other long enough to get the job done.

Eleceed has a simple setup, but the characters make it really enjoyable. Jiwoo and Kayden’s relationship is easily my favorite part of the series. Jiwoo is strong, but he still has weaknesses and a lot to learn, so his progress feels satisfying instead of completely unrealistic.

The art is clean and works especially well during the fights. I also like how the story can be funny one chapter and serious the next without feeling too strange. This Manwha is incredibly entertaining, I've binged it a lot. Fantastic power fantasy with great art, likeable characters and some comedic elements sprinkled in. This is what you're getting, don't expect more. This manwha is no masterpiece, just turn your brain off and be entertained. It can be formulaic and predictable, with characters repeating the same lines over and over in response to the same kinds of things. And while I say the characters are likeable, they are not very interesting characters. They have very little depth to them.

Before I begin, I want to state that Eleceed is a manhwa with wholesome moments and hilarious comedy tidbits. Reading it can be enjoyable. Nevertheless, I feel like sharing some of its poor story-related elements since every other review here on MAL does not overview Eleceed's negative parts in great detail.
