| Damn our resident milf manager is pushing 40, she really is best girl huh. It took a while to get to the age gap talk, though we didn’t actually get her age at first. Instead, we got her going full half-court shot by straight up asking the uncle if he likes Tamaya LMFAOO. Best wing girl and best girl in general. And at least she actually revealed her age at the end herself, so that clears things up. And hey, 24 and 40 isn’t that bad.. right? Should’ve figured honestly, only a 40-year-old could have that kind of drive at work. That montage was insane man. Fourteen days straight he said, that’s wild. Still, he got a nice reward at the end with Tamaya in short sleeves like the uncle prefers, so that’s a win. And uncle basically got a two-for-one this episode too, he even got to see Yamada in short sleeves, and in casual clothes on top of that. Uncle was definitely winning this episode after that brutal two-week work grind. |

| Got another anime providing a Jugemu reference there, reminded me of Akane-banashi with that brief moment, even if it was used for a distraction. Episode was another solid one. The work environment that Sasaki has to deal with in the black company there is quite dreadful to say the least, very painful montage of him getting drained and his co-workers leaving responsibilities to him to further increase the stress and energy drain that he had to experience for a couple weeks there. At least he did manage to interact with Yamada/Tayama there and even just conversing with her a bit was able to put him at ease after all the work and have him rest a bit more comfortably, even with some free drawings on the back of his hand like that. The scene where he and Yamada were drawing on some dolls was another scene with some wholesome interactions there, the Gotou one is really uncanny to say the least. Also got to learn a bit of the age gap present in this romance too. Gotou was skeptical of the relationship between Sasaki and Yamada since he never pushes to ask personal questions and basic details like her age, but did realize his good points too (besides the accidental shoplifting that happened later on in the episode). 24 years old is Yamada, definitely there for sure but Yamada does not seem to mind for the time being. While Sasaki has been paying quite a bit of attention to her and Tayama, she's been paying quite the attention to him as well (even if some of the motives are to get a surprise out of him for satisfaction). The animation is decent, but man, the music is such a good fit for the series so far. I'm really enjoying how that has complimented the ambience of the source material so far. Been a highlight for sure. |

I hope there's like another meaning to that cause an almost 20 or more year age gap is kind of wild. She could have def passed for early/mid thirties, it's anime bruh. Office work in Japan really is like a sweatshop huh? They got em working like dogs lmao. It's not funny btw, it kind of pisses me off cause I'm sure that's probably how it is irl too. | The manager is 40. Sasaki is in his 40s, as I expected. Though a direct confirmation would've been nice. But he didn't deny it. But wait. Yamada IS 24?! Bruh. I thought she could be in her 20s, but that's younger than I expected. Kinda glad this series isn't that popular now cause Xitter would've had a meltdown if they found this out. Edit- I read a synopsis, and apparently he's 45. I thought he might be in his early 40s, but he's in his mid 40s? No wonder he's called an oji-san so often... And it's a 21-year age gap between him and Yamada. She could almost be his daughter lmao. 14 days of non-stop work sounds like hell. How the hell is Sasaki still alive? That chief is a piece of shit. This has to be illegal... But I guess this is Japan, so it doesn't really matter either way. Tayama making fun of Sasaki as Yamada in casual clothes was just peak ngl. But how does she change that hair anyway? This episode in general was great. The music is so cool. It gives me some 80s anime vibes. |

| Man, this episodes always leave me with a nice feeling. So wholesome. Poor Sasaki, the guyy works way too much (if this is for real the life of salary men in japan... I don't know if I would be able to do it xD). I loved this longer interaction with "Yamada" out of the register, and also the drawings they made. Cute episode |

| Second to last episode before the minisode coverage has ended and wow this is getting sweeter! Seeing Sasaki and Goto share their moments are sometimes appreciated, the dynamic between the two is very underrated. And holy UNCness, both of them are hitting 40, like the boy, Drizzy Drake. Plus, Tayama finally reveals her age and---- HOLY AGE GAP!!! She's just like an older sister from her age, and hey I don't mind her style at all at 24. Sasaki having those 2 weeks of suffering made us realize something in our very own eyes...CHAD-SAKI HAS SOME AURA WHEN HIS HAIR IS DOWN! And he's muscular too which is a bit of surprise. I swear if Tayama sees this version of Chadsaki then all hell is going to break loose. Also, very cute drawing between the two and seeing Tayama smile is always a sweet dose of cuteness. Plus, in each and every episode, I think that Sasaki is slowly looking for Tayama more than Yamada, that is what is implied during their last scene together when he sees for (blank). Yeah at this point, Yamada the Cashier is nice but I think Sasaki is slowly falling for her real side, and I think our girl will slowly head into that realization. Too bad, Densesaki still striked in this episode, this time shoplifting a mag, too bad. |
