| They're really pushing Elymas to the limits here. I'd take it the idea of evolution in this show can come naturally for monsters. Either way though, Elymas has to get stronger too if he wants to survive. He fought for his life out there. |

| I certainly saw the ugliest 3D sequence I've ever seen in an anime for a 2D city the most beautiful I've ever seen in an anime, it's incredible how this studio is 8 or 80, but it was a good episode, we have to overlook these replays they do, but otherwise it's cool |
| i thought it was a fluke in Ep3, but GoHands did it again in Ep4. the first 2m 30s of this episode are scenes directly off the ending of Ep3. talk about 'a crappy studio' type choice. episode airtime KILLER using 'Previously on Dragonball' planning? that's... truly disappointing. i thought Toho with that section of MHA for the... i think it was Class A versus Class B competition... was the only studio dumb enough to try this junk since that rehashed, reedited, cut and paste, barely any new footage created, span of Dragonball where NOTHING much ever happened... just to crank out episodes on the production schedule... seriously, if you're going to recycle the previous episode's ending into the beginning of your next episode... just trash the whole project and restart at the planning phase all over again. because you're wasting that 2m 30s of the viewers' lifespans with old content from last week. if you're gonna do that EVERY week? ughhh... just... ughhh... :< you're gonna flush your studio's public reputation down the crapper. |

| I like the anime concept and characters, but the animation is disgusting, it's so choppy and doesn't blend well with the rest of the scenes. The fight scenes and the close ups on the characters aren't bad, but everything else is horrible. |
| So after the horribly paced episode last week, GoHands gave us an action packed one this week complete with their usual ADHD camera angles. I still don’t understand why we’re wasting 4-5 minutes every episode on recaps from the last episode, this one piece ass pacing bro your audience don’t have dementia. Just skip ahead to the 4 minute mark every week. Anyway, after writing Gowtan off as a dick last week, I gotta give credit where it’s due, apologizing to Elymas, letting him have the item drops and vouching on his behalf at the guild was real af. Now that Elymas has one of the most respected adventurers at the guild on his side, I don’t think people will be writing off the heavy knight class anymore. I’m dead af that Teal thought he was gonna get promoted when buddy ain’t do shit but sit on the sidelines until the end. This might be his villain origin story tho 😭😭😭 |

| I don't know, it's like... sifting through dirt to find scraps of diamonds. This animation style has a really high ceiling, but it hasn't been fine-tuned properly in any of the GoHands anime I've watched. |

It was still quite slow but already a step up in actual content from last episode.. Let's hope they will at least hold this pace. It still has too much empty time for my liking tho (still/panning shots, recapping the same thing 3 different ways).

| That was an awesome fight, Elymas did a great job hanging in there so Gowtan could defeat it. A great moment for Elymas when he earned Gowtan's respect. That was a huge amount of gold, raids pay very well. |
| This episode was bretty good, the action was cool and fun and the pacing was just right, the lack of the girl is still a bit problem but at least we know she is always there for us in the ED. |

| Yeah it looks like the reusing of scenes will be a continuing thing, unfortunate but it is what it is, it doesn’t break the show for me and it would be beating a dead horse if I mention it every episode, so going forward I won’t mention it at all, unless half an episode ends up being reused scenes or something lol. But with that out of the way, this was a very exciting one with Elymas having to take on the Mad Header by himself to buy time so Gowtan could recover from his paralysis, and it was a different kind of fight than what happened with the spider before since Elymas could not use Rampart Reflection here at all, instead he had to play things in a sneaky way and try to do what little damage he could. And it was a close call, but he did the damn thing so Gowtan could deliver the finishing blow, and along with defeating the Mad Header, Elymas earned the respect of Gowtan and everyone there, plus the loot drops from the boss were good too, like damn those fellas got paid. And now our boy Elymas has been promoted to rank E (not Teal tho lol, he may have healed Gowtan but bro was still an unreliable mess during the battle), and now he’s on his way to finding this skill book he needs to become the true heavy knight he wants to be, not sure if that’s something that’ll happen soon or not but I look forward to seeing him find it. |
| Even with 26 episodes, the pacing is disastrously slow. 4 episodes in, and he's only gotten through the raid fight. They haven't even introduced Luce yet, let alone the high important events of the first arc. I mean, if they don't get to a certain point I'm really looking forward to in this season because they're so enamored in adding tons of useless eye candy frames, I'm gonna be a pissed pussycat. |

| I decided to watch this... Man why are they wasting so much time on recaps, and animations (e.g that city shot) that don't provide any new information... That's the main thing that is bugging me with this series. So far seems like your typical in a game isekai, not bad in that regard but man those recaps are grating. |

| While the recaps are still around at least they felt like they took up slightly less time although the most annoying ones for me are the ones they do in the middle during a commercial break where they go back around 30 seconds even though they feel longer. Beyond that Elymas was able to level up from 16 to 23 and he got promoted from F rank to E rank, oh and he received quite a bit of gold so I imagine he can buy some nicer weapons and armor, eat some good food, and stay at nicer rooms. Btw, when the heck is the jester looking girl going to make her appearance? |

| I sort of enjoy this show and hate it at the same time. They spend way to much time imo doing recaps as well as camera movements over terrain and the city just like look animation. Think they need to focus more on actual action after 4 episodes there is alot of dead space imo. Also some of the scenes walking through the city are AI generated cause you can see if a few scenese people morphine through each other. So some AI slop is apparent. |

| Good ep Oh, so this type of evolution thru specific conditions is called Existence Evolution, which helps monsters thru battle. Damn, Mad Headder ain't playing around. Bro stunned and paralyzed him with quickness. Love the strategies that Elymas is using to stall time. Now we playing hide and seek with each other. Finally, he got a swordsmanship skill "Vital Slice". Good hit Elymas. Nah, that Dragonslayer Split was clean asf by Gowtan. Yessir, lvl16 -> 23. New Shield looks hard asf (Daemonsrage Shield). Rare as well. Lol, Gowtan funny asf. Didn't think his hair was purple, tbh. Looks like he's aiming to find a Fang of Smoldering Insanity skill-book, which unlocks the true potential of Heavy Knight. 9/10    |

| Loved seeing the background animation for mob characters living their lives in the city. The over the top reactions and seeing so much loot/gold on display is fun, like playing a game. Also, just noticed that the ending song and animation are the headspace of the jester girl. I was thinking, when are we finally going to see Luce?! Then I realized, she's been waiting too. Waiting to grow and get stronger, all the while, watching Elymas on the TV. |

| it's been a while since I've seen a "Back from these messages" recap. Can't believe they're doing double recaps here. fights over and the shield is nice. Giving a boost to attack is good to cover the lack in the Heavy Knight class. Almost time for the partner to show up. E: Yikes.. i see the City pans everyone is talking about those were awful. |

| Decent episode. I'm glad Elymas got promoted from D-rank to E-rank, but I'm starting to see why people are complaining. There definitely was a lot of time wasted on BS for some reason, but whatever, haha. Anyway, is he gonna reach S-rank by the 26th episode or not? I don't mind spoilers, so if there are any manga or light novel readers here, please either answer my question or explain it. Just please be respectful. Thanks in advance, I'm really curious about what the protagonist's goal is after reaching S-rank. |
