| Very cute. I knew I'd love this when I saw it and have been patiently waiting for the episode to finally air cause I didnt want to wait months to get new content. But after this episode part of me is just thinking screw it and watching the mini episodes up to episode 6 of the series. (Im gonna regret it later like) Also its so nice to have a new anime where I dont recognize the voices. Always love hearng new voices. |

| The subs make it hard to watch. I need a fan sub as soon as possible. "Sorry, I let my intrusive thoughts win." Not to be a "triggered" too woke person but that's offensive to people with actual intrusive thoughts. I would know; I have them, and they aren't cutesty 'oh handsome man light my cigarette teehee' shit. Pisses me off when I hear that shit and I don't want that god awful phrase forced into anime when I know for a god damn fact that isn't what she said. "Caught in 4k" No fucking man old enough to be called ojisan is thinking that. Subs need to tell me what he ACTUALLY said instead of this bullshit. |

| What a wonderful start! It's a unique romance anime. Sasaki is a corporate slave. He works hard from morning to night and gets scolded by his boss. The only thing that elevates his spirit everyday is Yamada's smile, the cashier at a supermarket. She's really so beautiful when she smiles.  One day, he was late and Yamada was not there. Then he was looking for a place to smoke and met Tayama at the back of the supermarket. Tayama is so hot. Tayama knew about Sasaki's crush on Yamada. They then enjoyed their smoking together. Yamada and Tayama are actually the same person. I think she smokes there to take a break from work. And she may have her reasons to change her appearance. Another day, Sasaki gave some snacks as a gift to Yamada as Tayama. Now the story has begun. Sasaki visits everyday to see Yamada's smile. When she's not there, he smokes with the Tayama version of Yamada. The opening and the ending songs are good. The abema version songs are good too. But nothing can beat the abema version ending. I was really surprised when I listened to NIGHT DANCER as the ending song. This song is one of my favourites. I always love romance anime with adult casts. This type of anime has a different vibe than school romance. Mature romance is always the best. |

| This really doesn't work as an anime. The manga is ok but mainly because the art style meshes with the story and its pace. Cheap animation and voices bring it down. Especially Sasaki comes out really annoying. I think you'd need something like shaft at its peak under Shinbou Akiyuki to make this series work as an anime. |

| If I would get a cent for every smoking anime airing this season, I'd have two cents. Which isn't much, but it's weird that it happened twice. I'm glad I waited for the "actual" release of this show, this way I can enjoy it weekly and don't have to watch half-episodes. So I assume this will be about Yamada trolling Sasaki until he finally founds out that she's Tayama? Hmm not sure how to feel about this after the first episode, it's not bad but I also don't fully enjoy it yet. |

| I'm curious to see what else they can do with this premise... like, unless they start to hang out outside the smoke area on the supermarket, this seems very limiting, XD also, when I heard about, I assumed was some misunderstanding from the guy, and the girl just went along for the funs... but Tayama/Yamada straight up pretend to be two different person from the go, XD ... evil girl |

| I hate smokers, but that's because in my damn country there are no smoking places so people smoke in fron of anyone, it's so annoying... Still, I decided to give this a chance because I've read it's really chill, and it is, I'm loving it, reminds me of some other anime with similar plots so the smoking part doesn't really hit that hard, I like that Sasaki actually feels relatable lol |

| Really good episode! I actually read the first chapter of the manga years ago, and I genuinely liked its chill slice-of-life vibe. The art is really good as well, so seeing it get an anime adaptation was a pleasant surprise. Is it just me, or is the elderly cashier lady related to Yamada-san? I feel like they look way too similar for it to just be a coincidence. |

| That was great! It's so nice to see an adult romance anime, literally every other major romance anime I can think off is set in high school so seeing a show about adults with exhausting lives falling in love is incredibly refreshing. Add on to that the really fun dynamic of the two (even though Sasaki is a little dense, I mean the name she gave him is literally 田山 which is the reverse of 山田 lmao). I do wonder how much you can do with such a simple premise, the big advantage of high school is that it provides an environment for two people to constantly interact whilst doing varied activates, here we really just got the supermarket as of right now. Anyway good first ep! |

| I can kind of understand how Sasaki thought Yamada and Tayama were two different people at first. Their personalities, body language, and the way they present themselves are completely different. Even so... he is still an impressively dense guy. She practically tells him the truth, and it still goes right over his head. Japanese work culture can be brutal sometimes. A meeting at 7 p.m. after already working all day sounds absolutely miserable, and it does a good job of showing why Sasaki is so exhausted all the time. For now, though, I think I'm mostly going to keep watching because of Tayama. Her design is great, her teasing personality is a lot of fun, and every scene she's in immediately becomes more entertaining. |

| Sasaki’s motivation after work: Yamada. IT’S FINALLY OUT!!! AND FINALLY THE RIGHT VERSION! This was one of the shows I was most looking forward to this season, I read the manga and love it. When they announced the adaptation, I knew I was definitely going to watch it. Sasaki and Yamada, and also “Tayama.” I loved the first episode, the voice acting suits them well. The opening and ending themes are really good. And the ones on ABEMA were good too, though I didn't expect the ending theme to be “NIGHT DANCER” xd      |
| I was expecting something more serious. I don't believe this dude doesn't understand that these two girls are the same person. Stanislavski in me screams: "I don't believe you!" Perhaps he's really so fucked up at work that he can barely think straight. I don't like the male lead. I don't know how old he is, but I suspect he's in his 30s, and he acts almost like high school students or ronins in old-school rom-coms or harem animes. The girls, on the contrary, are beautiful. Both of them. The way she put the cigarette in her mouth is the best sex scene of the summer of 2026. So much potential, a killer premise (probably one of the best in the visible part of the universe), but the final product leaves me with mixed feelings so far. Never I thought I would watch a cartoon drawn by Muhammads. |
