| It's back in its glory. No BS recaps or filler but just jumping right into business with Arc on his journey. They even threw in a bath scene with the party. Arc is still doing good deeds for other and this first episode also had them deal with some criminals. Great to see Ariane back too. It sounds like a simple premise for the first episode but I'm kinda glad this show is back. |

| Novelist Enri Hakari's series is back after 4 years, with a brand new studio in tow. Arc and company are back after quite a long time, but it seems that they're branded as threats instead of mercenaries now, even with a warrant for their heads. Ariane, Chiyome and Ponta are still around for good measure, and old enemies sure are still roaming around (like the pervert prince and his mercenaries in the illegal women slave trade). Both Arc and Ariane dealing with his summoned goblin race, then the skeleton knight himself dealing even massive damage to get out of their rut. Dialogue+'s 2nd ED of the series, and I have to say that Season 1's ED hits harder than this, though it's not bad. Welcome back, Arc and Co! |

| This was a fun, dumb return, and I had a good time with it. It really feels like the series made a conscious effort to bring back as many of the first season's clichés and gags as possible. It knows exactly what kind of show it is, and it leans into that without taking itself too seriously. The fake Arc and Arianne were easily the highlight of the episode for me. Their whole act had me laughing, and the reactions from the real Arc and Arianne made the joke even better. Especially Arianne's horror. |

We got bandit stuff just like in the first episode of last season too lmao. And Arc is just having the time of his life with everything as usual ig lol. |

| This is my favorite novel of all time, I don't really have high expectations towards this season considering how bad the first season was in terms of how and what they chose to adapt. But even I didn't expect that the first episode would be totally anime original. Unless I'm mistaking something, this was not in the novel... Frankly, I don't understand the point of taking a source material and just making it your own original story, besides, the content of the novel is quite good too, so I really don't get it. They are aiming to get to hot springs to get to turn human, which is in volume 4, so at least there is something. And from the very Chiome centered ED, and seeing her brother Sasuke there, I'll assume they are ending it before vol 6, when the most interesting content happens. It's gonna adapt 2 volumes from the looks of it, but considering how this episode was original (unless I forgot and it was in the novel), I really don't know what this season is gonna be about. That being said, at least Pellek is back and does OP again. Skeleton knight is so weird when it comes to OP, as in it shows nothing that's gonna happen in the season. I'm really hoping that this episode was an anomaly, and we'll be back to properly adapting novel content in the future episodes :) Oh and also, what's with the sexual harassment towards Ariane? I understand if it was in the novel, but it wasn't, like why add it? I don't understand. |

| Arc on the quest to become the side-quest king. The only complaint I have is that it wasn't worth the trouble to spare the bandits or that shitty little lordling who clearly has not learnt his lesson. |

The skeleton knight is finally back. Loved the first episode bu the new studio Aura kind of failed to deliver the fight scenes with better animation. The frames looks very still, and the quality looks a bit down compared to the 1st season. I felt like i am watching the episode in 480p during some scenes.
They downgraded Ariane's character animation as well. She looked so beautiful in the first season but now her character (especially her hair) looks a bit weird. I hope they provide a better animation in the further episodes although i am not hoping much. But anyways, i loved this show because of the MC and how he deals with the world. I am excited for that.

| My 6th Summer 2026 anime! ππ» It has been FOUR years since Spring 2022 when season 1 came out. I missed this anime so π€£ I still remember Arc’s signature line at the beginning of every episode. “Konnichiwa, Arc desu.” π€£ and of course I missed Ariane too. Amazing girl. Voiced by Ai Fairouz. Arc is voiced by Tomoaki Maeno. Aw they changed it from a Thursday anime to a Saturday anime now tho π₯² 0:38 HE SAID THE THING AGAIN AFTER 4 YEARS! π€£ππ» And of course can’t forget about Ponta and Chiyome too. Chiyome is voiced by Tomita Miyu! | It has been such a hot minute since Spring 2022 man, I rewatched Season 1 a couple months ago in preparation for this so really it hasn’t been that long since I’ve seen Arc and the gang, but it still feels so nice having them on my screen again, I missed them a lot. Now it looks like some people are saying this season looks worse, and my take on that is… I don’t see a downgrade at all, I rewatched Season 1 very recently so it’s pretty fresh in my memory, and it was mostly of the same quality, it had its share of good animation, CGI, and stills, much like this Season 2 as of Episode 1, not sure where the opinion of it looking worse is coming from, it is what it is I guess lol. And it’s interesting to find out the content we saw here is anime original, now I want to see a proper continuation of the story as much as the source readers, but as an anime only, I have no issue with an original episode, it’s more fun with the heavily armored deadhead after all, I won’t say no to that lol. Plus, it worked as a good returning episode after four years, it was a fun little plot line with the imposters of Arc, Ariane and Ponta, they seemed to have some skill but were no match for the originals, not even Ariane’s imposter’s legs could hold a candle to Ariane herself lol. And at the center of this operation was that one bowl-cut guy from Season 1, and along with him was an army of goblins, it looked to be a tough situation at first but it’s nothing Arc and Ariane couldn’t handle. And I’m so glad we have the same artists for the OP and ED, PelleK killed it once again and the partly pirate themed visuals were sick, and I can’t tell you how happy I am to have DIALOGUE+ back doing anime songs for the first time in a good while (I believe Winter 2025 was the last time), their song for Season 1 was a banger and it’s hard to beat it, but I’m really liking their new song for Season 2 as well. And lastly, I love that they brought the #HangingWithPonta end cards back! Although now it’s called #PontaIsOut&About, it’s such a small thing but I appreciate it. |

| To be honest, I'm not a fan of original scenes in adaptations, since they often stand out, but I'm hoping the second one will fix that, although the fake Ponta scene was funny. |
| arc's too distracted by the bath that he didn't realize he entered the women's bath instead of the men's lol so far, so good kicking off second season. i didn't expect them to come face to face with their former nemesis, but he still got his junk scrambled, which he rightly deserves lol |

| Great to see this back again, I really enjoyed the 1st season. That bath scene was hilarious. That was one ugly guy pretending to be Ariane. Rich boy should consider himself lucky he only got a kick to the groin. It looks like Chiyome might have a big role to play this season after watching the ending credits. |
| Season 1 was ok but entertaining enough for me to watch a 2nd season. Okay 1st ep, Arc funny as always and Ariane still a 10/10. Seems like Arc knows his goblin slayer lore. |

| Ahh more of this, first season was alright, nothing special. I do remember the Knight and Elf switching to CGI during the fights. I guess it won't be too bad to watch more, seems pretty much more of the same. Not sure how he didn't kill the girls he was rescuing from the orcs with that wide area off destruction from his attack, and pretty funny this world has tighty whiteys LOL Loved the goblins all wailing on him and he was just completely ignoring them. |
