When I was still working I really hated Wednesday. For most of my coworkers it was hump day but for me it was Monday. My schedule was Wednesday thru Sunday and while everybody else was vegetating in front of that circus known as televised sports I was putting in my 8 hours. Nice thing about it was that it was really nice to go shopping on Monday or Tuesday and there was very little crowding in the stores. Even at X-Mas time. 😁And there was very little traffic to contend with on the last 2 days of my workweek (with the exception of Rally week).

Philly - it is now hump day for me, half the school week done, only half yet to go.

I went to watch England T20 cricket last night, stonking good time, one of the England batters scored a century and it was an open bar, so it was an 8+ pints night, then Chinese on the way home. Jobs a good un.

The weather here has perked up and we've got lovely clear days, cool in the morning, but warm sunshine in the day but not above 21C. Perfect for getting out on a walk.

I was reading about the El Niño today, so this one is going to be one of the worst if not the worst ever, like 1982-83 we are in for a warm winter, it will probably stay dry. There haven't been and won't be any hurricanes in the Gulf. We are already having the "endless summer" here with temperatures staying in the 90s every day. The only good news is it will end one day. That day might not come until 2028, but it has to come (doesn't it?)
