I actually haven't gotten to Jigoku Shoujo or Beelzebub yet. 😭 The last couple months were crazy between graduating and studying for my board exam, but I passed my boards!! 🎉 So now I'm finally getting back into anime and finishing up my Summer 2026 shows.

And yeah, the MAL app might make replying easier! Although clearly I'm proof that having MAL readily available doesn't guarantee timely responses. 😂

Honestly, it sounds like we have pretty similar systems, just with different timing. 😂 I like that you finish one season before moving on to the next—it probably makes it easier to keep everything straight.

And don't worry, loving long battle shounen isn't lame at all. 😄 Those series become popular for a reason. **Hunter x Hunter** is one of my all-time favorites, and I still need to catch up on **Black Clover** one of these days.

I also really like your approach of putting things on hold instead of forcing yourself through them. I've found that if I'm not in the mood for a series, I'd rather come back when I can actually enjoy it than watch it just to say I finished it.

It's honestly impressive that you've almost caught up on three years' worth of seasonals over the past eight months. 😭 That's a lot of anime! Hopefully now you can finally relax and just enjoy watching weekly again instead of feeling like you're constantly catching up. 😂

Hahaha, yeah, my watch order is probably a little unconventional. 😂 Going backwards through the seasons has actually been really fun because I keep stumbling across hidden gems that I completely missed when they first aired.

And don't worry, I'm definitely adding **Jigoku Shoujo** and **Beelzebub** to my list now. 😄 If you think there are other series on your list that match my taste, I'd love to hear them too!

As for the 200+ "currently watching"... that's a little misleading. 😂 A lot of those are long-running series, specials, or things I slowly chip away at over time. I also count movies, OVAs, and shorts separately, so it adds up faster than it looks.

My main system is actually pretty organized. I usually binge an entire season once it's finished airing, then move backwards to an older season. Right now I'm working through Fall 2022 while making a few exceptions for current shows like **Re:Zero** and **Witch Hat Atelier**. I also have a checklist that helps me keep track of everything, so somehow it all stays organized in my head. 😭

It's definitely not the most normal way to watch anime, but it's been working really well for me! 😂

Haha, no worries at all! 😄 There's definitely no rush. I think a lot of people mainly use MAL as a tracker first and a social site second.

Really? i think death note is perfect for newcomer , its not too anime like too so ppl can easily get in mediuim bu then again it depends on what they like , i was open to anything but i dont thnk i would have liked shows like my dress up or kaoru hana as my first anime.

Ohh ic ic , well that same for me , i dont watch much tv shows or movies but really wanna watch lots of movies.

With anime, it's so hard to pick what to watch now that I keep changing my mind or leaving some anime in the middle.

I guess some ppl just love party and all and they also think it makes them cool casue we see so many teen party in movies and show and it looks cool.
