Differences:
- Age difference (Himekishi both MCs are 18ish, Ryoumin there's a 20y age gap)
- Ryoumin focuses more on the village building aspect
- Himekishi takes place in an established village/nation, while Ryoumin is about the establishing of it.
Both stories have a very obvious meta-plot and decent worldbuilding, and use the trope "civilised person meets barbarians but the reality seems reverse."
Ryoumin seems a bit more mature, different target audience, but have a very similar vibe to each other.
