I started watching anime with Super Book back in the 90s. In the '00s, Gundam 0079 and Wing drew me in through Toonami. 4kids Dub One Piece sealed the deal. And proved Subbed anime is better than Dubbed anime. So I have a bias for the One Piece manga and all Gundam anime properties.

I might love writing about anime as much as I love watching it. So you will see me ruthlessly roasting lame anime tropes or shamelessly praising anime that I love. Before I die, please let me see who wins in a fight between Thors and Sugimoto. Or just a Madhouse OVA adaption of the Hisoka Vs Chrollo Lucifer fight.

Mecha anime made me love anime. So I give most new mecha shows a shot. And sometimes, they don't let me down.

BTW, don't be a hater, watch Radiant season 2. It's great. Don't worry about season 1. You're not missing out on that much.

I guess I should update my profile with newer anime so I strongly, strongly, recommend you give Dorohedoro and Dark Gathering a full watch. Dorohedoro has been finished as a manga a long time but the anime is at the forefront of what 3DCG anime can be and the story is incredible even if you only count what has been animated in season 2.

Dark Gathering is still being published and if you have seen enough shonen/battle anime to be a snob for battle systems, then you owe it to yourself to see the most intricate system since World Trigger and Hunter X Hunter before it. Just know it's gonna take 8+ episodes before the story starts to reveal it's greatness.

I do a lot of procrastinating from my profession. When I'm not supposed to be keeping people alive and healthy, find me on MAL typing to avoid other stuff I have going on.

BTW on 7/18/2026, the new Hunter X Hunter became available and Gon and Killua are not only on the last page but might end up being part of the story again. The last time they were relevant in the story was 14 years ago, when I was still in school for my profession and I read HxH in my downtime. I've been a licensed professional for 13 years and changed an unfathomable amount in that time but seeing Gon and Killua again brought me so much joy I don't even have words for it. I hope that chapter brings y'all joy too.
