I finally got into anime at the start of 2025, after wanting to be a fan for years and I have been loving it!

I’m mostly using MAL to keep track of and rate my shows alongside focusing on the current seasonal anime.
I’m probably not going to write many reviews though.

My standard for rating shows is almost entirely dependent on how much emotion I feel when watching: be it excitement, joy, sadness, intrigue or just plain hype.

There are also mainly newer shows on my list, that’s because I am primarily focusing on them, but I will try to watch some of the classics eventually.

On top of that, I really like reading manga, but I vastly prefer physical and don’t have infinite money so it’ll be a while until I can form a proper manga list.

I like almost all genres as long as the characters are good, though I also really appreciate great comedy as well as great fights and animation.

Animation is simply the best artform.
