Hey, welcome to my page!
My name is Riley and I started watching anime in the spring of 2024, ever since then I've really fallen in love with it and spend a lot of my time watching new anime, but also older anime I missed out on since I got into it so late.
My first anime was Naruto which I got into because of the Boruto manga, meaning yes, I did read Boruto before watching Naruto lmao.
The thing I value the most when it comes to my enjoyment watching any anime is the characters, they can absolutely make or break a series for me.
I also post YouTube videos talking about anime, the channel is called CashdudeAnime in case you're interested!
My Rating Scale:
1 & 2: Unwatchable (No enjoyment value whatsoever, waste of time)
3: Bad (Extremely unenjoyable, little to no redeeming qualities)
4: Not Good (Not necessarily bad, but not enjoyable whatsoever)
5: Mediocre (Mixed feelings, "mid" but probably had enjoyable elements)
6: Okay (Just fine, maybe had a bit of enjoyment value but could've been better)
7: Good (Overall very solid and enjoyable, just not my favorite thing ever)
8: Great (Very enjoyable, definitely something I'd recommend watching)
9: Amazing (Extremely enjoyable, does just about everything at a high level)
10: Phenomenal (My personal favorites, they do everything perfectly and I have no complaints)

Oh, I’m sorry to correct you, but S2 basically adapted only arc 4… yeah, I searched hard and it has practically the same length as arc 7.
Yeah! I hope so… because I heard that arc 7 is the longest of Re:Zero

Yeah! Same here! These episodes were really peak, we had some huge plot-twists… Only 5 episodes left now, bro!
Oh, since you started to talk about Re:Zero, I have a controversial question to you:
I mean, after watching ep 14, I started thinking straight about it.
I thought exactly the same! And both were simply summoned which is why they’re almost powerless.
I sincerely hope she gets her own arc just like Sylphie, Roxy and Eris. If it happens, I’ll upvote this show.

Seconded. I think the author is trying to convert Mushoku into something like Frieren filling it with SoL stuff and focusing less on Rudeus’ development.
Anyway, I’ve reached the weekly eps and wow, the current one was disturbing… I really think the Turning Point 4 is near
Couldn’t write any better than that! Yeah, Rudeus really developed very well in this part and, strangely, I thank Eris for this. However, the last episodes threw away all his progress…
Hmm, I recently started the 3rd season and liked the Eris’ mini-arc, then it went downhill after THAT GUY returned…
Anyway, I’ll reply to you again if I reach the weekly episodes.
Ah yes, got it… but personally, this last episodes wasn’t that bad, considering what happened with Rudeus in his “Depression Arc”. I think he had some character development while traveling with Sara and, lately, with Soldat.
Phew… it’s unbelievable how MT always messes everything up when it comes to conclude arcs…
Are you talking about the season 2? Because I was liking it until episode 10, the most traumatizing one, then it went downhill after ep 11…

Personally, my favorite entry is Season 1 Cour 2, but I’m watching the Cour 2 of the 2nd season and already noticed some heartwarming episodes.
Seconded. I’m reading the LN and yes, characters are better written there. I also noticed that some characters like Nanahoshi and Norn have potential for further development in the anime. Also Rifujin (the author) is really a weird guy as you wrote…

Based! I was in the 2nd season part 1 and that Ranoa University arc was hella boring and soulless… well, as you wrote, I would’ve liked it if Rudeus & Co. weren’t horribly written…
