@llXenonll Did I say anything about the gender of anime protagonists in general?

Feb 1, 4:00 PM by RobertBobert

@RobertBobert Even this season, which is currently airing, I'd say there are more than 20 anime with female protagonists.

Feb 1, 1:11 PM by llXenonll

Ugh, I thought it was, y'know, a Tomb Raider anime about Lara Croft, lol. But it seems to not be even close to that. Meh, I will pass. :P

@Rimuru0001, yes, let's hope for anyrime soon!

@Memore
I really hope we get it before 2030 as some rumors suggest that we will likely get a movie before the third season.
Solo Leveling is on another level man, and definitely deserves a full adaptation.

Doesn't Japan already have slop at home?

I feel attracted to the animation and casting voices immediately.

Meanwhile still no news for ORV

Why does the PV look so much like Solo Leveling? 🤣

Even the MC's VA is similar to SL's (Ban Taito in SL reminded me of Hosoya, but ultimately I think Ban sounds better than Hosoya in this kind of role).

Never leaving the walmart Solo leveling allegations xD

Jokes aside, the sudden surge in adapting a lot of webtoons kinda baffles me.

@Rimuru0001, let's hope.
I also wait for season 3 of Solo Leveling, it is in production, I read about it in one of the staff's interview.

@Memore
Ah, got you!
You're right, hopefully we get some announcement for a sequel afterwards at least.

Jan 17, 5:32 AM by Rimuru0001

@Rimuru0001, that there will be no more than 12-13 episodes, if more, it woulf be great.

Jan 17, 5:30 AM by Memore

@Memore
I mean, the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the pictures etc was Solo Leveling, so as long as we get a Mc like Jin Woo at least in some of his personality traits and some good action scenes then I'm definitely in.
By the way what did you mean by few episodes ?

Jan 17, 5:29 AM by Rimuru0001

@Rimuru0001, they are different, but still very good. I will watch it despite few episodes.

Everyone's saying how this being like Solo Leveling is a bad things because it's "unoriginal slop" that will be very boring, but I do not think that will be the case. I for one will eagerly await the Solo Leveling vs. Tomb Raider King discussions with a bucketload of popcorn.

Something else that is interesting is the studio and staff. This seems to be Studio Eek's first TV anime; I believe they have done some other work in the past though. Anyways, Studio Eek seems to be a Korean animation company and the staff seem to be mostly Korean talent, with some having previously worked in the Japanese animation industry. I could see this becoming like a donghua situation, where numerous skilled non-Japanese animators use the experience they gained from the industry to help establish a creative industry back in their home countries. I seriously welcome that; with webtoons becoming more and more popular, there will be a demand for Korean studios.

Hopefully Studio Eek gives their best on this project, because they might be paving the way for many other young Korean animators to tell their own stories one day.
