Last year, the Fiend met his match.

Word mages from across Bunkasai rose to the challenge, unscrambling titles and restoring order with impressive speed. Defeated and humiliated, the Fiend had no choice but to retreat – his Jumbled Spell broken, his chaos undone.

But he never forgot. The humiliation. The mocking laughs.

Hidden away, the Fiend spent the entire year plotting, training and strengthening his magic. "They were too fast," he whispered, fingers crackling with dark energy. "This time... I won't make it so easy."

And now, with Bunkasai in full swing once more, he has returned – angrier, craftier and more powerful than ever before.

This time, the Jumbled Spell hits harder. Familiar titles twisted beyond recognition. Rarer finds hidden in plain sight. Letters woven into elaborate phrases designed to confuse even the most seasoned otakus. Banners flicker, screens glitch, and signs twist into chaos across the festival grounds.

"Impossible..." one word mage whispered, staring at a banner.

"Not impossible," said another, cracking their knuckles. "Just harder."

The Fiend is confident. Last year was a fluke, he says. This year, no one can stop him.

Prove him wrong. Sharpen your mind, channel every drop of anime knowledge you have, and break the spell before the Fiend's laughter echoes through Bunkasai for good. 🧠💥
