| They just keep giving Beryl all sorts of tasks in this season. I swear, he never catches a break and is now assigned as a bodyguard. This season also continues to add more locations to Beryl's adventures. For what's worth, I think it's a neat idea to showcase its world fiction. |

| Even though her scene was very short, it was nice to see Surena, she's always so sweet and caring to her master. So knight-kun survived, but in really bad shape apparently. The parent-child discussions between Mewi and Beryl are always something I love to see, especially now that Mewi has matured a bit. Her meeting Ficelle and Curuni was a pretty fun scene, talking about the 'old man' and everything haha. While this is relatively subtle, the show continue the trend of showing us Allucia growing awareness of her feelings and we can also see that Beryl is now most likely aware of them. It's interesting to note that it seems like he's considering how to answer to them without rejecting the notion outright in his head. In the meantime, the fact that they didn't actually get attacked this time feels worrying: I'm guessing next episode will have a decent amount of action with some betrayals and surprises mixed in. |

| Beryl, choose Surena already. That's the best one! Shueste is really fine, and Allucia is the main girl... But I still think Surena is the best here. Anyway, Beryl doesn't want to stay on hold for too long. He wants to know who those enemies were. The guy survived, but he will have to retire early, unfortunately. That's still a relief. Mewi is growing up. She's at that age where she can start making her own decisions without a parent behind her (which they still are, but they make it seem like you're doing it fully on your own). She also has support from the other ladies who were Beryl students (her teacher Ficelle and Curuni the knight). She's definitely in the best of hands at this stage of her life. |

| I like that Beryl wants to eliminate all those who attacked them. I like the way Beryl treats Mewi, but it's good to see she is ok with independence and a lot more confident talking with others. Getting the Princess there safely went without any trouble, but I have a feeling bad things are about to happen. |

| So Vesper may not die after all but it sounds like he will have to step down due to possible permanent injuries, bummer but at least he's not dead. Regarding escorting the princess, it went without any issue but there was a mysterious blue-haired girl at the end that reminded me of Rose... damn. On a more light-hearted note we got to see Shueste so soon and she really is in love with Beryl but he's got other things to take care which I think include talking to Allucia about her feelings. Anyways, great episode which had an air of foreboding... |
| I like how Beryl handled that confession of love, finally an adult protagonist who actually acts like one. Was also good to see Surena again, she did not get much screentime in this season so far. |
