I’m sure if they faced famine from over hunting they would have more important things to do than farm a large field of fox tail grass to play with. Clearly they manage their population fine, with a large number leaving for towns, being summoned etc.
| @FutoiOtaku well I meant what would happen if the anime would have been more realistic. I liked this part in Tate no Yuusha , although the anime did not spend as much time as the manga on it. Basically anything has long term consequences. Yes you kill the demon king or despot but that means the demons will run even more rampant . So either exterminate all of them or find a solution for the void of power. |

| The dragon gets adopted by cats and never meets another. Is clear is the last one in the area. Regarding the rest we are talking at reproduction cycles i.e. how long after birth can a cat produce kittens ( 1 year. With humans is 15) how often csn they produce kittens. ( 1-2/year . With humans is 1 every 2-3 years) . Is math and being a magical cat is unaffected. Regarding 4 there is a recent real case that shows intelligence does not equal being friendly or good. |

You could also buy indulgences to have your sins forgiven. Was a swag practice before that pesky Martin Luther got all upset about the P2W model.
Though you could purchase 40 Days, 300 Days, or 7 Years of avoiding punishment for naughty behaviour while you were stuck in purgatory or later time in Purgatory.
Alas, Pope Paul VI had to do away with that model in the 60s, as people weren’t acquainted with micro-transactions yet.

Two explanations: A) The dragon laid an egg in the forest, it doesn't mean that's where they live. could be that they usually live on a mountain and lay eggs at safer spots. B) The main dragon is special - I remember in one of the 1st eps where they said he can see spirits or something like that which makes his magick very powerful. It could very well be that he is a special case and regular dragons aren't as strong as him (hence how they hunted his mother) 2. You say 12, but these are a completely different species. We know there are also regular cats in the show, so they are not the same. We also never see more then 2-3 kittens in a litter in the show, and also have only 1 partner, if at all. They are intellegent short lived creatures that like eating and lazing around all day, so basically feline hobbits. 3. They are not invasive to the forest, as they are natural creatures there. We also know that they are below bears in the food chain (except on rare occasions), so it is hinted that they do become prey sometimes. 4. Again, not cats. They seem to be very friendly towards most intellegent beings, including other Cat Siths and Humans. They said they have territory, but even humans have those. Ep 11 best shows how human like they are in many aspects. in conclusion saying that they are like regular cats is like saying Humans are like Chimps, while there are similarities, they are way different. You were talking about logic as it relates to magic cats from Celtic mythology (though Mamanyan has crossed into Japanese as well as a Nekomata), akuma, and dragons. I was bringing in what qualified as logic from mainstream Catholicism during the period this sort of show would have been set in.
Also, I believe the practice still exists as an official part of dogma. It’s just removed most of the questionable aspects.
So, trying to apply logic too seriously to what’s going on is an exercise in futility.
