| This festival bought back in the fun mood and reunion of familiar faces such as Allucia and Surena. Beryl and his father Moldea facing off an interesting development. Feels like he's the one person Beryl wants to prove himself to. Not sure how strong Beryl got since season 1 but I loved the determined attitude. |

| The festival looked so fun but the highlight was the duel between Beryl and his father it was so good and intense. |
| Well, Beryl is the strongest. A dad was cut in half, and that was it. Though Beryl still can't beat his old man when it comes to family. Mordea applied the "Get married already, I want grandsons and granddaughters", and it's very effective. Allucia and Surena at the end. Kawaii. |

| Beryl finally gains some confidence after beating his father for the first time and thinking a little bit. We got some nice family moments for him, with his parents, but also with Mewi. Besides that, we got another fun little drinking session for Allucia and Surena. Out of all of Beryl former students, Allucia really does seem to be the one who's head over heels for him (for the others, I feel like it's probably not the case, or at least it's more ambiguous). |
| The long-awaited duel finally took place. In my opinion, it was very satisfying. Despite his age we also saw just how much trouble his father gave to our Beryl. He really is an impressive man. However, the reason Beryl struggled so much was that she was hesitating out of fear of his father, so it was great to see him overcome that. Now, we might see a more self-confident Beryl... |

| “But I can finally breathe easy” 🥹🥹 There’s nothing more that a father could ever want than seeing his son succeed and surpass him. Every good parent wants their kids to have it better than they did and as someone who had a dad just like that, who prioritized his kids’ success over everything, seeing Beryl’s dad praise him at the end of their fight meant everything to me. Reminded me so much of my dad and made me miss him even more than usual. This was a beautiful ending to Beryl’s home return trip. I really thought he’d lose to his dad and that would just be the motivation for him to get stronger and grow as a swordsman, but I ended up getting a welcome surprise here. Beryl’s always downplayed his own skills and subconsciously limited himself out of respect for his father, but you can see him growing into the fight and becoming more confident the longer it went on. The action choreography in this series always gets me too, it really feels like actual swordplay! It’s so cute how every man just reverts to a little kid when their dad tells them they’re proud 🥹 Beryl tearing up there at the end got me so emotional. Love this dude and this series so much, such a shame it’s so underrated. Beryl and his parents have the most realistic dynamic of any anime family because they be on his ass about getting married, they’re even using the classic bribing the grandkid technique. 😭 Relax, my boy’s only 40, he’s just entering the prime of his life! Always such a wholesome experience whenever he sees his parents and the way he still has the utmost respect for his father even at his big age is so beautiful. I bet Mewi will be the same way for him when she grows up. Any girl that wants to marry Beryl is gonna have a difficult time being good enough in Mewi’s eyes too lol. |

| Allucia & Surena drinking in a bar is always entertaining. That was a nice festival they had, plenty of good drinks and good meat. I really enjoyed the spar between Beryl and his father. |

on True for everyone, woman or not, grown or otherwise. Being able to conquer the self is what makes one strong!  Curuni understands what it means by hard work pays off  This was a good homecoming with Beryl levelling up. |
| That was a good match. It showed that sword fighting isn't just about crossing blades like you see in most anime, there are pommel strikes and leg sweeps etc. and in the end it can come down to one strike deciding the winner. |
| A pretty good episode. Beryl was finally able to grow up a bit and not let his mental drag him down as much for the fight with his dad. He finally realizes and admits he is better. Better late than never for fixing his mindset ig. The parents nagging thing is real lol. I wonder if he does ever choose anyone, I wanna see it lmao. |

| @Ego_Altar I really wish they would just formally get engaged at least, so the whole bunch of kids half his age that are in love with their teacher can move on. They are already living in Lucys house and have basically split parenting roles for Mewie, they just need to make it formal. |

| This is one of my favorite episodes for this series as it was nicely done with Beryl finally dueling with his father and winning but his father is still winning in life with family. On that note the fight was well animated and executed, too bad no one witnessed it. Anyways, Beryl and company are heading back to the city and I know that Allucia is looking forward to that lol. |
| This episode felt like 10 minutes, what happened? Guess it was just a good episode. Fight was pretty technical, really showcased his father's experience. |

| the much anticipated face-off against father and son finally happened, and although it took beryl a while to find his footing, he was able to best his father. he just needed to get out of his head and stop being scared of his old man lol |
