| That's a skill book? It looks more wicked than it sounds. Elymas managed to increase his adventure rank so he's definitely making progress. I guess he wants to push the boundaries of his class, or reach further than what he's capable of. I'm curious what other powerful objects like that exist in their world. |

| It took 5 episodes, but they finally introduced Luce and the skill book. The pacing is still atrocious, but it should start getting more fun now. Only issue I have is the extra drama they're adding, like his hard breathing after he runs to catch up to her - that was kind of unnecessary (ofc, it still covered his request and shows how her current party is abusing her) |

Like seriously, who the hell needed to hear those final six minutes or so of nothing only for it to end on her pretty much going "OH NO I'M BEING RAPED" because he wants to form a party with her? Just walking around in the town for three more? Does this manga have, like, zero content? |
| Me and the bad bitch I pulled because she got a skill tree I want π only took 5 episodes, but the reason I’m even watching this show, Luce, has finally shown up. These kicked from the party scenes always make me laugh because if you’re in a fantasy world, surely you’d know the importance of having a tank in your party?? Not everyone needs to be a DPS or support, especially as you traverse more difficult dungeons. Oh well, that party’s loss and Elymas’ gain. I did think it was really sad Luce is so desperate for friends that she was willing to work with them for free, fuck that. Know your worth, which I expect Elymas to help teach her since he was also someone written off for perceived “useless skills”. |

Elymas realizes that she's special, and she is quite the character by the looks of it. Looking forward to the next episode to see what happens. |

No one wants that job in their party really l, so I am assuming anyone with it is fairly low level and can't make much. This is kind of a deal breaker for me. I really wanted to like this one too. :(
| @Seynless Pretty obvious that the old witch cunt saw that Elymas really wanted it, so she immediately asked for an astronomical price. I've known record stores like that in the past - they refuse to put price tags on anything, and if you ask them about any item, they'll give an outlandish quote. If he'd just sent his oblivious friend next week to ask for it, it might've been two million. |

| @Seynless This was so stupid, dumbass didn't even try to negotiate. I don't care how rare it is or that nobles have inflated the price, it's worth what someone is actually willing to play, and only attackers "with a death wish" seemingly have use of it, so this entire scene is brain dead. |

| I feel like it's quite the missed opportunity to not have Elymas try to steal the skill book from his father. I'd have loved to see him come up with a plan and then possibly end up in a fight with Malice. Though, I still like the way they introduced Luce (even if the pacing was horrible T_T) |

| @Love_And_Forward To be fair... he grabbed her when she was trying to run after them, and looked like a complete psycho doing it. I started laughing hysterically with how it is was adapted. Oh, and 1/4th of the episode being frame filler isn't the manga's fault. |

| 5/5 episode, mainly because of what happened at the cliffhanger, the heroine, Luce, finally met the protagonist, Elymas. Goodness gracious, I was about to run out of patience, pun intended. Anyway, I can't wait to see what Elymas will do now that he has Luce by his side. |

@Love_And_Forward actually, the anime reinforced this sensation, in the manga they don't try to make it look like he was abusing her or something like that. The manga tries to show a funny scene, not a weird one.

| Damn, they stretched out that confrontation scene for SO LONG and then they flashback to the thing that happened 30 seconds ago. They're obviously trying to save money by repeating scenes because they can't keep up with their style of animation for a full episode length. It's frustrating cause I actually want to know how the story will go on, maybe I'll just look for the source material? |
