I didn't find anything interesting in season and dropped it after few episodes..does it gets better later ? Or should I directly give chance to season 2 ?

It's a slow phased anime,
In a Nutshell:

1. OP MC Oldman
2. All his students are famous (Important NOTE: Female Students)
3. He win all the fights
4. Teacher for training the knights now

It's a slice of Life,
If you like this type of genre dive into season 1 and then season 2

How are we supposed to know what you consider ‘better’? You’re asking people who didn’t drop it therefore people who liked it. You didn’t. So I think there’s plenty of new shows you’ll like more. Why waste time on something you didn’t?

It's still a ultra safe show and it's easy to guess what the MC will say in every conversation. It might as well be rated G instead of PG-13.

I can’t be the only one who finds this to be a bit of a comfort food anime, can I?

I was Just asking general opinion whether this gets better later on or will it get better (better is just a relative term and some people continue watching even if they don't enjoy much)

it's not that deep

Does it get better? Not really. If you didn't like it after several episodes, I don't think there's anything introduced later that would change your mind.

Absolutely not, comfort food is the perfect way to describe it. Watching the new episode was liking bumping into a friend you haven’t seen in a while.

I hope it will be better but doubt it. The MC in season 1 was terminally deaf and never hears or says "HUH?" all the time when his students practically confess to him. Can literally beat god yet thinks he is "Just an old man" and so on. Kinda reminds me of the parry anime but that one I had to drop because how unbearable the MC was with his obliviosness.
