| You know Sasaki, I think deodorant would work in situations like this. Unless you're really as dense as Tayama said last episode lmfao. It was a nice little parallel though. Last episode Tayama got reprimanded for smoking, and this episode Sasaki got called out for a similar issue. It's nice seeing how they end up helping each other with their problems instead of just hanging out and chatting all day about Yamada. And ofc, the best part was Tayama getting completely flustered about it near the end there. You love to see it lolol. Anyways, new girl shows up. Not for the harem or anything, but as a wingwoman, so she’s already fine in my book. Keep going, queen. But about that ethics meter... was it ever even working? It feels like it’s been dead for a while, lol. I was wondering how long it would take before vapes showed up too. And honestly, she looks older than even the old man, so that was a wild card. |

| Gotou is a fun add to the series. She does have some amount of discipline as a manager and looking out for her staff, but also values being entertained and having her dose of romance stories and spark to keep her morale higher amidst some dull work patterns at the supermarket there. And hearing about Yamada flirting with a customer with an alternate identity as Tayama was half-assed but also content for her to enjoy unfold, within reason. She's there to jump in if things get out of hand, but if lowkey, she's down to support Yamada subtly. And the previous part with the deodorant mist had some fun flirting with Yamada, while helping each other with their problems. Sasaki got in trouble then with a very similar issue to what Yamada experienced at work with the strong scent of cigarettes, and you can tell how much he values Tayama's company and advice to help him out. Even Yamada in the end was caught blushing hard, so there's definitely something in the air that's got her feeling attracted and curious towards him. Even her later on about how she held the ashtray far away from Sasaki, leading him to have cramps in his shoulder and arm and how that alone had her laughing mildly there was just cute enough without making her look bad there. |

| I guess if you can't quit smoking, it's better to just try to hide it instead? New character? Didn't expect that. Don't think I've seen the manager in the OP or ED. But I already like her. At first, I thought she might be trouble, but she's actually chill. I guess if a character has eyes, then they're probably chill in this series. She seems to be on the older side, but she's into romance stuff, huh. Wonder if she's married or not. Sasaki's gift was pretty cute. I loved her reactions in this episode. She doesn't know it yet, but she has already fallen in love. |

| Sasaki is not beating the dog allegations with both Yamada and now the manager seeing him as one. On that note, having a chill manager is like winning the lottery and Gotou seems like a pretty good manager to Yamada and the old lady we see all the time (best character btw). Can't help but think which big Japanese tobacco company has paid for this to be produced, cause i fear that this show might get people chain smoking like our two wholesome MC's at this rate... |

| It's official, the two biggest 'new' shows (according to MAL numbers) are both animes that feature smoking! Though Yani Neko has been quietly rising through this season's chart, this show continues to deliver through its consistent Dense-saki and Chadyama moments. Third episode in and though the anime ain't really too special with its animation, it does have a good job in keeping us invested with its relaxed form of slice-of-life. We have a new character who does smoke but does it a la vape, and she somehow finds the game between our two leads as some shoujo manga scenario, too bad her character will likely stay at that so nothing much to expect from her I guess. Also, introducing deodorants and spray mist is a nice bonus, for conscious smokers that is always a must. And the gift for Tayama was cute, though teasing Sasaki for that ash was literally pushing hard for some laugh that he had to buy out some pain reliever patches, which made me realize that Sasaki and Yamada had some considerable age gap. Though I haven't looked up their official ages just yet, considering Yamada and Gotou's mention of Sasaki as an old man suggests to that point. Still a cute episode, and Yamada is in the blushing territory, you love ro to see it. |

| So the manager figured out the Yamada/Tayama situation almost instantly so why can't Sasaki?? Speaking of which, I actually thought for a minute that the manager was going to rat out Yamada/Tayama to Sasaki but instead she is allowing their romance to blossom while she watches from the sideline. Beyond that this was another nice and chill watch with Yamada happy with Sasaki's gift and teased him at the end with it, nevermind that he got an arm cramp from reaching out haha. |

| Goto is the best manager you could ask for. She's so into fluffy romance and she really wants to see something good happening between Sasaki and Yamada/Tayama. Yamada tried to tease Sasaki and it got backfired, haha. Sasaki-san found a beautiful present for Yamada and she knows the efforts that he put into choosing that gift for her. How sweet ! |
