 A television anime adaptation of Fuurou's Ryoumin 0-nin Start no Henkyou Ryoushu-sama (The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects: The Blue-Horned Maiden) light novel was announced at the Earth Star Novel 10th Anniversary Summer Festival on Saturday, revealing the main cast, staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and an announcement promo.Voice actors Kenichirou Matsuda (Clockwork Planet) and Shion Wakayama (Takt Op. Destiny) are starring as Dias and Alna, respectively. Earth Star Entertainment began publishing the light novel under its Earth Star Novel imprint with illustrations by Kintain October 2016. The 13th volume shipped on April 15. Yumbo began drawing a manga adaptation in Comic Earth☆Star in December 2018. Earth Star Entertainment shipped the 13th volume on July 11. J-Novel Club licensed the manga and light novel for digital release in English in July and September 2023, respectively. The ninth manga volume went on sale on June 11, with the ninth novel volume released on July 11. Synopsis Dias finally returns home after decades of war. He's hailed a hero and promptly rewarded with his own domain...which turns out to be little more than empty plains. Population: zero. Dias, who has only ever known battle, finds himself at a loss. How is he supposed to survive, let alone cultivate his territory into a thriving, prosperous dominion when there's nothing but grass as far as he can see? Fortunately for Dias, a horned girl by the name of Alna is about to show him there's more to the plains than meets the eye! | Shiyon Wakayama is recently on the roll and is being casted in many roles. I especially like her performance as Lan Yan in Genshin Impact. She is so talented, so it's totally deserved, which is why I'm definitely gonna watch this one ass well. Also, I might be racist but damn, this girl is cute. 😍 |

| @EcchiGodMamster I don't think this has Isekai or reincarnation tag, and it seems from the description, he's building up a town or city with the help of the girl, so it should be safe. Also seems like he was a soldier or something rather than a guy taking on enemies by himself maybe? |
| This looks interesting! By the way, I noticed that in the light novel entry, only the girl is tagged as the MAIN character. However, both the anime and manga list the guy as the main male protagonist. It seems obvious from the synopsis that he is a protagonist as well. Just out of curiosity, does the story differ between the light novel, manga, and anime? With one focuses on Dias as the main while the other put the whole focus on Alna maybe? |
