| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. -------------------------------------------------- I honestly relate to Yumi in the first few pages. I worked for the city, and it was a nice job and all. Though I didn't really take it serious. It was hard to get yelled at by my manager for minor mistakes, or because I was lazing off. Then she ranted about them not properly compensating her for not taking sick days or paid time off, or something. Either way, I couldn't feel too bad. Yumi is going through a depression since Croc is missing. Makes sense because she got him when she was young, so he's family to her. They've known each other for a while. Reminds me of when I cried when my dog passed away. Haruo is suffocated by her depression and frustrated that he can't do anything. Luckily, he won some money and she desires to go on a vacation. According to him, it's a good sign that she's wanting things again. |
| Croc was her reason to keep going with her life and now she only has Haruo, sad. |
