| Aside from the HORRIBLE dialogue, everything flows pretty smoothly. The whole narrative has an interesting build-up despite being absurdly childish. I seriously can't imagine this being made for an audience that already knows how to walk or use the bathroom by themselves, but that's not an issue as long as the story has context. The dragon animation looks great and the soundtrack is amazing. Honestly, the potential of these adaptations would be so much better if the animals communicated through telepathy or something similar. Due to physical limitations, these creatures wouldn't talk the same way a human does. |

| Well! That was unexpected! And a welcome new way to tell a standard story. Lots of promise here for sure. A solid 8/10 so far. Aside from Nekoryuu, everyone else is short lived. Next episode will have a whole new cast it seems. Oh right, there's a demon too! |

@KiliianSleipnir It don't bother me much honestly it's a little annoying but im just happy I could watch my faviorite manga's anime adaptations first episode a couple weeks early above all else.

| @Phantom_373 a different problem are the 'sequel announcements' we've been getting for the past 10 or so years after the end credits of the finale episode. Witch Hat Atelier for example, didn't put its S2 announcement in the 'early release' finale episode. they let folks know a week later when the normal broadcast version came out. folks get grumpy, but... shrug... the MAL Database 'rules' can't be entirely re-re-re- (however many times they've 'fixed em') paired every time a new format is introduced or something... innnnteresting... happens that gets the MAL users grumpy. ;> that is how stuffs gets broken... too MUCH 'fixing'. :D you've got the best idea i've read yet. just wait a week-ish etc. and fix the ep count then. :D |

| It feels like I don't even need to watch the rest of it. The first episode has basically an ending that is better than 99% of anime endings nowadays. |
| This was fine. Another show where I found the first episode to be decent but the story for a good amount felt like it would have been a stronger one-off episode, similar to what To Your Eternity could have been in my opinion (first episode was great and felt complete, rest of it was much weaker). Hopefully there is more to it narratively that can make this series standout beyond the comfy and wholesome vibes that are obviously going to be there the rest of the season, since this kind of series could get a bit old for me quickly. The ideas from this episode as a one-off though were decent enough, and the Yorushika song at the end fit the series tone well in my opinion. Series could be good, but could get very boring quick, and I hope it is the former. Want to see more of the mother Cait Sith and what happened to her with the summoning. |

| Hearing such a maternal voice from such a big floof of a kitty feels so surreal. Dragonbro's cat form is more or less what I'd imagine a Dragon-type a to look like. |
