| I know this show already romanticizes smoking so it's weird that'd that even bother with the health scare chapter. Plus we know the rug is gonna get pulled out from under us cause the whole point of the show is smoking together... He should obviously quit regardless of the health results, so it'd be better if the show just ignored the health aspects completely to not remind the viewer "oh this thing is actually bad for you btw" |

| Sasaki starting to realize he will miss "Tayama", if he has to stop smoking. And she was afraid of losing him, too. And both are quite oblivious, no? He doesn't notice Tayama and Yamada are the same person; and she didn't realize the guy that was always smoking outside of the market, 8 years ago (se was 16, so?) was him (to be fair, for what she said he stop showing up after they removed the smoking area by the door, so she just forgot how he looked, and he also didn't notice her "becoming" Yamada for the same reason) |
| Really hated the first half. Yah, let’s pretend Sasaki is healthy and won’t die of cancer in the future…. |
| Sasaki should probably quit smoking either way, but if he did, there wouldn’t be much of a story left. That customer was honestly the absolute worst. I felt so bad for Yamada having to deal with him. What’s even crazier is that she still hasn’t realised Sasaki was the one who helped her back then. She’s just as dense as he is! |
