| Oh wow, I've missed Youjo Senki so much. Welcome back, Tanya Degurechaff! 🫡 Honestly, I barely remember what happened in the last episode, or even the movie, but I do remember how much I hated Mary Sue since she was the one fighting Tanya in the movie. That said, the first episode was so much fun because it immediately reminded me just how ruthless (and badass) Tanya is in battle. I really wish they'd included a recap as it would've been appreciated, but unfortunately they didn't. Looking forward to the next episode! |

| COMEBACK This is how you return. I loved how the episode throws us back into Tanya's madness immediately. The prayer scene hit me because she is not praying out of faith. She is basically defying God while being forced to say the words. It brought me right back to that feeling when she shot the statue. Tanya against God. Tanya against faith. Tanya against anything trying to control her. Directly, I was back in the mood. And after that, seeing her in command again felt so good. Her speech to the Salamander Combat Team has that cold, brutal Tanya energy. No heroic nonsense. No fake motivation. Just fight or die. The best part is that the group around her is still incompetent. Failed coordination, wasted resources, people not ready for the battlefield. It makes Tanya look even more terrifying because the gap is obvious. The aerial battle is where the comeback really explodes. The dodges, the bullets, the magic, Tanya cutting through the sky like she owns the whole battlefield. I felt that domination. She is cruel, calm, efficient, and that is exactly why she is such a unique MC. You do not watch Tanya because she is nice. You watch her because she is scary, smart, and completely locked in when the situation gets violent. But the episode is not only action, and that is what makes the return even stronger. The night battle builds pressure in another way. The silence, the radio, the waiting, the artillery sound, that moment where everything feels too quiet before it breaks. The counterattack lands because we lived that pressure first. The wait is not for nothing. It prepares the payoff. And Tanya's smile. Honestly, how can you not feel chills there? That devilish smile, the voice acting, the way she praises people while already calculating how she needs to be seen. I loved that. It shows exactly why this anime works even when nobody is flying or shooting. Tanya is dangerous even when she is just talking. The toast at the end makes the victory feel even colder. Peace, victory, glory. Beautiful words on paper, but here they feel twisted by war and propaganda. That is the real taste the episode leaves. Not a soft return. Not a simple setup. Tanya came back with prayer, cruelty, pressure, strategy, and that smile that reminds you this war was never gone. |

| Good ep Tanya's crazy ass is back and she's better than ever. Who is that nasty ass who licked his grimey fingers in thoughts of Tanya?? 🤢 Good lord, all of the Salamander troops are dumb asf. Holy carry job. Tanya arguably curses the best in anime. It's funny and rude asf. At least they learned from their mistakes this time. Tanya smiling with her eyes closed and childish voice is mad scary 😭 Fish lens looking crazy. Bro must've dipped or became a opp. They really treating Tanya like a angel when she's more like a fallen angel. 9/10    |

first episode not only has an adequate budget, but it also combines drama with action and comedy very well. This will be my 2nd most anticipated weekly episode of the season

| So glad to finally have this series back. It's as entertaining as before. We do get to see Europe here, but I doubt they're gonna show the Asian front coz reasons. |

I almost forgot the character design of V.Serebryakova in the anime series. Since I'm used to the manga version now, the big-eyed-monster design seems odd.
| @kuroneko99 i kinda expected the second season to bring the manga artstyle to life in the anime. Its a shame since they look so pretty. |
