| More military tactics being discussed in this episode especially with the harsh Winter conditions. Han's charisma showed this episode and it's impressive. From Tanya side, her units are having trouble dealing with the enemies' tactics. It's reality of war when each side wants to win. |

| Han did a really good job of getting the locals onto the side of the Empire. Tanya is still having trouble with the enemy that even she can't figure out how to solve just yet. |

| The change in strategy to creating allies and making friends to survive was different for the series and how the Empire operates, but tactically would have been needed to sustain itself. It's something different to the first season, whether it is fun to follow or not, so I appreciate it. Han managed to convey his points really well to create some breathing room for the Empire that is very much needed. A bit of a slow episode and somewhat boring to start off with, but the second half picked up just enough for me to call it okay by the end. The OP and ED songs when hearing them in this episode are nowhere near as catchy as season 1's, so that's a shame. |
| The new OP sounds awesome, especially the chorus, HOLY HYPE!!! This is an epic comeback to the series; I love how some shots looked like a battlefield wallpaper. Not sure if this new OP can topple Jingo Jungle, but all I can say is well done, Myth and Roid; they always pump out BANGERS! The ED, on the other hand, is not to my taste as much; Los los los is just far better. Seriously... By a VAST margin! Regardless, I'm sure I'll grow to like both the new OP even more and perhaps the ED as the weeks pass by! Didn't Tanya make a thesis similar to this military mobilisation strategy back when she was in the military academy? Well, logistics are one thing, but managing the morale of troops and anticipating what the enemy might do during this winter environment is a whole different ballpark. Anyways, this ep passed by really quickly; the main deal with this ep is how Tanya found out that they've been fighting nationalists all this time instead of the 'hateful commies' that she despises. Good thing she answers directly to the strategic HQ; she could immediately share her intel, and Zettour can bust out his con-man skill with his title as the Lieutenant General. You know, for a man who believes in rationalism and hates unfounded speech and idealism, he really made a convincing speech. Thanks to Tanya's input and Zettour's action, the Empire earned itself new allies whose territory lies WITHIN the Federation. In the long run, that opens up more leverage and potential for more priceless alliances that the Empire desperately need as the most hated nation in the world. In the short run? No more attacks on the Empire supply lines, which means fresh new socks for Visha and coffee for tiny ol' Tanya XD Their geleful expressions are adorable. |

| Man, all these years of waiting were worth it. The production quality is great! Even a more dialogue episode feels interesting. Nut really did improve a lot. |

| Ok nice episode. The enemy of the world actually managed to make some friends for once. The empire might be good at shooting people but words are far cheaper and more effective than bullets. Tanya really was blinded by her hatred of commies lol. Good episode and actually some good comedy more than I expected. For an anime about war we actually got an episode about friendship. The power of friendship really is the strongest. Effective even in a war anime like Youjo Senki. |

| Oh fuck yeah, my girl got her coffee! It warms my heart to see this demon enjoying herself. Tanya was blinded by her hatred of communism, not realizing that the people currently suffering under communism hate it more than she does. Still keep that hatred close by. It will come in handy later. New OP and ED are nothing special, but still very happy to have this back. |

| Be like Youjo Senki, leave your fans on the dark for 5+ years after the movie, drop a random ahh OVA with some pasta no one wants, leave the anime franchise almost irrelevant in the "Isekai Quartet lineup" after the anime boom in 2020, and come back in the Big '26 and proceeds to hit and slay as hard as ever. We're 2 episodes in, and I'm still appreciating how the show looks more cleaner now than ever. And the story perhaps is still on that warming-up phase but it's shaping to be just as intriguing as Tanya and the Empire's chances in the war. Still don't like Mary Sue even as a deuteragonist, and looks like we have our new enemy mage on Mikel (voiced by the GOAT Sugita). Also, I can't help but laugh a little inside when Zettour made that speech in part of Tanya's suggestion to incite ethnonationalism in the Federation's realm, it's not like the Empire themselves had A LOT of ethnic groups that would be inspired by this move. Also, Idolia (aka Italy-chan) enters the fray. Considering the evil bald man is not there, we may be heading into the best alternate history for Italia for my fellow HOI4 and history fans out there. Song check: A BANGER AND A BANGER. Lots of My War esque imagery from the OP, and of course we have MYTH & ROID back on the performance, this time Hotaru being the lead vocalist, and we have our usual M&R sound but hey it is just as good as JINGO JUNGLE. The ED on the other hand, the song itself not as catchy and captivating as Los! Los! Los!, but the choice of sound was bold and better, hearing Aoi Yuuki on this dark EDM sound was mesmerizing and that pre-chorus & chorus from the ED is a devil. |

| Never too late to make new friends. Hell yea, this is the sort of tactical war games that I love to see. It’s cool how they depicted the average Soviet citizen as not caring for communism and just wanting to protect their homeland and used that nationalistic sentiment to recruit disgruntled occupied areas of Eastern Europe who themselves wanted to be free of the Soviets. The Germans were horrible, but the soviets weren’t exactly teddy bears themselves. If you can’t beat them directly, delegitimize, divide and defeat them ideologically. Who would’ve thought Tanya’s hate of communism would come in handy lol. Ofc we know irl the Germans absolutely did plan to annex those regions as part of their thousand year reich and “breathing room” for the German people which is what Tanya laughs about at the end. I wonder how that’ll go if they win the war in this timeline. Everyone be sure to thank Serebryakova for quite literally saving the empire because morale and supplies were at an all time low and the war seemed all but lost until her interrogations figured out the average Soviet citizen hated communism and were just nationalists. You can see how grateful Tanya is to have her at her side, even though she’s hard on her at times, there’s no one else she’d lean on in times like this. Lmao at the Italians trying to make themselves relevant just like irl, this’ll be fun ๐ญ Would not be a youjo senki season without myth and roid. Another banger OP omg |

| The eastern front like its namesake demands only two things Ammo and bodies nothing more. Such a killer OP. The more higher you get in rank the more likely you would become a smoker or a drinker. Hmm the studio sure did well in animating Tanechka and her co. The universal greeting gift for all soldiers is of course cigs. The interrogation scene was well done. High command not understanding one's motivation to fight is a grave error of judgement. Still i guess preconceived ideas about someone is something not easily shaken off. Inspiring change within the locals is an interesting direction to take though. |

| OP/ED rocks so we have an excuse for a SINGLE all talks episode. My worst fear we'd get Season 1 treatment here more or less, but as a disclaimer I ain't familliar with the source pacing. As long as commies are getting proper ridiculed and destroyed this show serves it's purpose ofc, but it could rate higher if wed finally see some war challenges and historical stuff. Interrogation in this EP was a nod in a right direction, but still very vanilla and early-to-tell How bout bringing more The Evil? Tanya I like don't get me wrong... |

| A very political episode here which Tanya played a big part in helping the empire gain an ally. Mary Sue has made a new friend as well, I am interesting to see how that friendship will play out as the season progresses. |
