| Tanya and her insane face and expressions are back. The familiar action also returns with the fight in the sky. Once again, we got lore and other content that are relevant to world fiction. Feels like this episode did its job at bringing this back to its form even after so many years. Great to see Visha too of course. Welcome back Youji Senki. |

 At the very least, it almost has been a decade since the first season if nothing.. nobody remembers the movie tbh, and hey not anyone’s fault. What I liked the most, is that they didn’t waste any time before getting back into the stuff and such. They could’ve tried to make it a bit lighthearted just for the fact that it’s been years since the first season, but yeah, not with that tension lol. Looks good visually, and yeah, that has to be a bare minimum tbh when they took so much time. Good start, but yeah, nothing is topping Tanya’s cute girl act towards the end this time.. I mean cute to the point where people found it beyond creep xD |
| It's been 9 years; I was still in school when the first season came out as Studio Nut's debut. Now, almost a decade later, S2 has finally begun airing... As I would expect from this show, they don't handhold the audience by retelling past stories in a recap; nah, we're jumping straight into the chaos with Tanya's crazed expression and maniacal antics. AFAIK, the last noteworthy thing that I remembered is that Mary Sue got conscripted into the military, and she wreaked havoc in her battle against Tanya in the movie as both Tanya's rival and antithesis. Still, no girl in this world will surpass Tanya in her ability to use her frail cuteness as a means to subvert her enemies' expectations, the mistress of gap moe! |

Hardworking idiots the worst combination...but well she's just gotta train them until they're useful. Empire situation just keeps getting worse and worse. They're really fighting the world alone. Tanya if she survives the war and wants to live peacefully she's gotta maintain her image and reputation but man idk how much that would matter considering she's called the devil and a monster by her own side... also goddamn propaganda who tf was on that poster Tanya? when even have time for that? I thought they only had her to propagandize that one time lol but I guess it must've been more than once. |

first episode not only has an adequate budget, but it also combines drama with action and comedy very well. This will be my 2nd most anticipated weekly episode of the season |

I had watched the first season and the movie back in 2019, when I was just starting to get into anime. What I remember more than anything is how batshit crazy Tanya can get. Second season is coming out swinging, throwing us right back into the fray with some intense fighting. Nothing has changed. Welcome back, Miss Degurechaff. Let's turn these Federation shitheads into good communists - dead communists! |

| Been 7 years since the movie and 9 since s1, that took forever. But finally here. Watching Tanya and hearing Yuuki Aoi's Tanya specific voice felt so good. Some light action and we got to know her current situation. That smile at the end was diabolic, holy. The camera work for the tank and plane or warfare was pretty good, felt like battlefield. And damn that annoying bitch from the movie. How long till she dies. This poster though lmao.  |

| Youjo Senki is back after quite a long time (with a movie happening in the middle), and the action was good and the story and writing of battles were middling at best, so pretty much what my thoughts were mostly with the first season and movie for Youjo Senki. I'm not that much of a fan of Tanya from before and she's the same basically as now, but the setting continues to be interesting (even if I feel a lot more work on exposition on it would help for me). The propaganda poster at the end was nuts though, goofy beyond belief but I guess that's the intention? To make her innocent and goofy with the image of peace in mind? Her new unit stinks but she is normally someone that would train others beyond belief to get them to the standards she needs them to be in, so I pray for those soldiers and hell they would be going through. Basically from watching this, feels very similar to before. If you were a fan then, you'd be a fan now. If you weren't a fan then, I don't know if this would be changing minds off the bat. Still too early though, wonder how Mary Sue would play a role in the season to make Tanya and the Empire's lives hell. |

Missed those ear rape SFX when they are fighting, and the still PS2 CGI shit fest too! And from the credits, more than half of this shit is outsourced, but still bloody and fuckt up as always!
9/10 start, I just want to see more war crimes from Tanya, I don't give a fuck about the story, and who cares about that shit at the end of the day! Let's see some more dog fighting and more strategies put to good use next! And nice propaganda poster with the loli angel at the end lol!

| Tanya is back! I thankfully got to skip the very long wait having just watched this anime last month with the movie, but I'm so happy to be back already. This episode was amazing to come back to. I'm very excited for the plot points we will probably be covering this season, the Federation with the pervert, and the United States with Mary. The animation was amazing, the CGI work was great, the sound effects amazing, everything was just really good this episode. I like how we got some of the over the top killing you can root for against the comically evil Communist Federation (And even then it's not like every conscripted soldier is going to be evil, some are essentially forced to fight.) And the more nuanced characters like Mary who you can root for against Tanya even. I feel like we will get both this season. One moment you will be excited watching the gratification of Tanya exploding a hundred soldiers, the next you will be met with a realistic commentary of how terrible war can be. It's what makes this anime both so fun and nuanced. |

| Just started my 16th Summer 2026 anime! ๐๐ป Fun story, I actually just finished bingeing all of Season 1, the specials, and the movie last week ๐คฃ I watched Isekai Quartet and that’s how I found out about this anime. I love Tanya and Visha. Voiced by Aoi Yuuki and Hayami Saori respectively, two amazing voices. Hayami Saori is actually voicing quite a few roles this season I’m watching ๐๐ปMy boss at work too told me he was going to be watching this too so I hopped on just in time! ๐คฃ๐๐ป that’s crazy tho how long it took for this second season to come out since the first. Cheers to another season of Tanya going crazy ๐คฃ๐๐ป 1:25 ew ๐คฎ 2:00 the daughter ๐ฎ 2:45 THIS OST IS SO GOOD ๐ฅ I have it saved on YouTube. | It was great! A very solid start. Animation, direction and sound improved a lot. The only downside is that the OST remains pretty the same. Couldn't they compose new tracks in the last 9 years? |
