| Honestly thought it was going to be cringe but I gave it a fair shot. I'm glad I saw the "Comedy" tag in it's Genre before watching. That was singlehandedly the stupidest, most amazing thing I've seen in a while. |

| Mangaka Shu Sakuratani's series is FINALLY here, courtesy of Sanzigen's 3DCG and Joseph Chou's Sola Entertainment (which is not the best out there AND is noticeable), but through its premiere episode (which aired early on Toonami's Adult Swim), it looks the part alright. Daruma Rollin's OP is catchy, that's a given. Even Tetsuya Takahashi's ED is also good... Right off the bat with chicken sex, it's quite the ride for the Rooster Fighter wanderer Keiji, who was born not to just be a player, but to be a fighter. However, some concussions with kids and an old man grieving for his wife, which had to remind him of the devastation of his chicken home, as well as his own sister Sarah being eaten by Demons. And now, Keiji is facing a Demon, evolved from someone who needed to meet expectations, and as the acclaimed Rooster Fighter, his crows...are quite the menace for one powerful chicken, which normal humans can only perceive as noise resonance. The thing is, locating the Demon whom ate his sister is going to be like a needle in a haystack, and this is but the first of many encounters. Too bad that the hen he's back for...is being dominated by another rooster...so, to the next town he goes. I can't believe it, this is such a great premiere, despite the 3DCG. Looking forward to more chicken fighting! |

| First things first, I'm quite surprised some people here are unaware SANZIGEN is a 3DCGI studio. Glad I watched MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica before this x Yep, I'm guessing this anime will mostly be Gag Humor. The comedy feels region-locked, like the infamous Shikanokonokonokokoshitantan x The action scenes are fun nevertheless, so that's probably enough for me not to drop the show halfway. |

| Pretty solid start, CGI is good although it makes the 2D human characters look shittier by comparison. Fan of the detailed illustrated stills, feels like you don't see those much in newer works. Faithful adaptation storywise so far. If it keeps going at the same level of quality this should be a fun seasonal. |

| I don't want to sound like the old guy in the group, but this anime only reinforces my belief in the decline of anime in recent years. I know, it's a comedy anime and shouldn't be taken seriously; I figured as much when I saw it was about a rooster fighting monsters. And I won't lie, I laughed a couple of times, but at the same time, I felt a pang of sadness... I suppose Rooster Fighter will be the hit of the season, and that's what makes me sad. I grew up with the golden age of anime: Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball, and Rurouni Kenshin for example. And yes, I know these anime weren't perfect or didn't always have a very deep story (Dragon Ball especially), but at least they had a message amidst all the fights. The characters had a purpose, whether it was to save their friends or become stronger, and they taught lessons about overcoming adversity, friendship, and redemption. In contrast, this anime... is the epitome of brainrot entertainment that persists to this day. What saddens me most is that today's children and teenagers will grow up watching these kinds of shows, while my generation grew up with the others I mentioned. I also know there's more anime out there now with more imaginative stories, but it's receiving less and less media attention than content that, while entertaining, is ultimately just junk food. Sorry for the long message, but I had to get it off my chest. π |

It was cringeworthy π i wasn't expecting monsters of the week bullshit but something more serious like a ring tournament fight or similar... However, I don't think this will reach the title of AOTY man. Phew! But rather, many memes will rain down with every ep of this shit show. |

As a fan of the Manga I'm happy with the first episode. But this is adult swim, and I remember uzumaki and lazarus started well but then steadily regressed. So I'm cautiously optimistic.

Gramps a real one. Kokekokko(Cock-A-Doodle-Doo) is basically Keiji's version of a Kamehameha. LMAO, he knew she was a hoe. Found sum BBC with ease. Tbh, haven't read this series in a minute. But, the 2.5 CGI looked decent so I'm definitely watching more. This ep adapted ch 1-2. 9.5/10 |
