| I have been reading this masterpiece for so long and the adaptation is so damn well made, I am so happy. The ending is soooo vibe but maaan the opening female singer makes my ears bleed. For the VAs at first I thought Sasaki voice was little bit high pitched for his image but after a while I can say why that VA was selected but I think the So damn happy to watch more. I am very surprised to see Hoshiki Seena doing a very good job since she is a complete rookie and just a singer, I am very happy that I was wrong to think she will be bad. ∞/10 |
| people need to be imprisoned for what they did with the release schedule of this show. ruined all the hype for one of the best manga in recent years. great adaptation otherwise though. |

| What is it with animation studios this season releasing anime centered around smoking? A short format makes sense, considering how little depth this anime is going to offer. A forty-year-old getting worked up over nothing.. quite a reflection of society's dynamic between seniors and juniors. |

| Yamada might not be that heavy of a smoker hut I'm still kinda impressed with how she can maintain a high pitched persona on top of her actual personality. Can't blame Sasaki for not getting it too much lol They really nailed making the atmosphere feel as mellow as a post-work break, which is awesome. |
| A smoking romance, and the hype really built it well. Sasaki and Yamada, customer and supermarket cashier, two souls of a smoking kin, these two are just a pleasant couple in the making. The cute and innocent Yamada from the outside, and only Sasaki knows and can peel her hidden layer off. Zutomayo's TV edition OP is just as great as the JP streaming exclusive OP, as is Imase's EDs for both the TV and JP streaming editions. |

| Just casually watched this episode again but in its full form now that the episodes are properly releasing as full-length weekly now. It's still really good as expected. I do prefer the opening and ending of the mini-episodes version personally by a lot, but the new opening and endings are solid enough. Wouldn't call them my favorites from the season so far but still decent. |

| I waited, I waited for the proper first episode, and it's here! Never would I thought that this random manga I randomly discovered in 2022 (that I never get to read) would got an anime adaptation this good, so well deserved! Though technically it has been out for a month now, and from what I've heard, the earlier minisodes is already equivalent 6 episodes. I say bullshit to that, so I waited for the proper 23-minute showing and I'll follow this for the show, because I ain't waiting til August for newer scenes. Now mini-rant aside, we have our newest entry into the essential romance anime of the 2020s, "Teasing Master Sasaki-san" (with Warlboro) is a funny analogy. Though I already have awareness of the general feel of the show, thankfully I didn't spoil myself more than what happened in the first episode. Our boy Sasaki, probably in his 40s at this point, really liked this cashier, Yamada, so much that everytime he gets out beaten from work, he atleast get to see the cute and lowkey sexy lady in the front of the cashier desk. Then just to layoff for a couple of minutes, he gets to smoke with "another" lady who really "looks so much" like Yamada. It's funny that in the first episode, he didn't even get to realize that Yamada and Tayama are the same fucking woman, but this dynamic would be enjoyable atleast. As a young adult who is in this thing called adulting, this show talks to me in a different way. And with regards to smoking, it's funny that in its TV airing, this comes out around the same hour with Yani Neko, which is freaking crazy to even have two smoking shows to begin with. But so far, we are yet to get into those in-depth conversations in relation to smoking cigarettes with this story, so I'll reserve those thoughts for later. But hey, like Sasaki seeing Yamada as a happy pill, this show will be my happy pill after the crazy hit I get with those addicted cats from the other show. |

| My 19th Summer 2026 anime! 🙌🏻 Yeah, I just waited for it to officially come out 🤣 I know like half of the season has already been released but it was weird how they did it releasing like half episodes. Anyway, this is gonna be a cute wholesome heartwarming watch 🤭 Sasaki thinks he’s talking to two different girls when it’s actually just one with split personas 😁 Don’t smoke kids. Worst thing you can do for your body. Your lungs will thank you later on. Waste of money too. That character change is crazy 💀😯 voice too 9:52 well THAT certainly was unexpected 😯🤣 so cute 22:00 I wonder how long it’s gonna take before he finally realizes? 🤣  |

| Can't exactly agree with the health benefits of smoking...but this is a fictional show so it doesn't really matter. What does matter is that, just from the first episode alone, this is gonna be a cute and wholesome show. Also that and Sasaki is gonna be blind to tell the difference between Tamaya and Yamada. |

| I just knew that towards the end of this episode Sasaki was going to assume that Yamada and Tayama are good friends and not the same person 🤦♂️ It's like Yamada said, he's a dense old guy that she will tease for her own amusement. Anyways, this was a fun and chill watch and I'm looking forward to seeing Sasaki's reaction once he figures out that they're the same person. |
