Lucas Lebrick is the Ambassador of the Yutear Empire, sent to attend the celebration of the founding of the Kingdom of Haldoria. At twenty, he became a Viscount and gained a territory boarding Haldoria as a reward for his hardwork. His actual age is unknown, but he's older than Elizabeth by a few years.
As an ambassador, he attends the fateful party where Prince Friede breaks his engagement with Elizabeth and announces his engagement with Sylvia Lockit. He's later approached by Elizabeth in hope he would help her flee the country. Elizabeth builds her new firm in Lebrick viscounty with Lucas help.
Before becoming a Viscount, Lucas trained to be a soldiar, his element is Fire.
Elizabeth is the daughter of a duke, raised to become a Queen, Lucas is a mere Viscount who was sent to a territory boarding Haldoria while tensions are raising between the two enemy nations. Elizabeth sees Lucas as nothing but a tool toward her revenge. Lucas accept the arrangement because he and his Empire have something to gain by collaborating with Elizabeth. Lucas and his entire admnistration walks on eggshells every time they meet Elizabeth.
In his younger age, Lucas was a magic Knight in the Empire. He developped an unname Devine Artefact who boosts his Fire spells.
Every chapters ends with a Flashforward. With this first Flashforward, we read an excerpt of Lucas's memoirs (about his meeting with Elizabeth). And we learn two interesting things in them.
This spoiler section is cut in two parts, the second part will reveal what could be considered as a major spoiler.
The flashforward reveals 2 things : first the fate of the Kingdom of Haldoria and second what will happen to Lucas.
After the end of the story, Lucas will become the first Archduke of the Dukedom of Haldoria. Meaning : when Lucas decided to help Elizabeth, he took the correct decision... and we know from the very beginning Elizabeth will succeed.
