Reiwa no Dara-san

The anime is surprisingly cute and really unique in this modern era of fantas and isekai slop.

It's almost a slice of life anime, but about the resident cursed spirit of a mountain town. Surprisingly adept story telling involving the acceptance of oneself, growing beyond your prejudices and becoming a new person is littered throughout the episodes so far. It appears to be about breaking out beyond the stereotypes that we so often fall back on, so that we can more easily understand and better ourselves as we get to know the interesting world around us. The snake woman spirit is ... charming, and funny, and the two kids are startingly naive but also wise beyond their years because of it.


Characters are fantastic and unique, but the animation is probably sub par compared to its peers. But this anime isn't about visual flare. It is about the journey and character development, and about the small kindnesses you can bring to the world around you, as long as you keep an open mind.

Its the story of two siblings. Kaoru and Hinata. One is a trap ♂, the other a reverse trap ♀.
They discover a lamia. A half-woman half-snake. Named Yamatagi Madara.

When she first shows up she has her delicious breasts visible for our viewing pleasure. Definitely the breasts of a goddess. Probably full with nectar of the gods.
Afterwards they get covered up. And this anime just went from a 10/10 to a 0/10 for that!

Its a cute and funny anime. About the day to day life of these oblivious kids with no sense of danger. With their invisible snake-woman friend.

Its a very dialogue-heavy anime. Sometimes ... funny. But sometimes drags on too long.
There are also a lot of flashbacks of Madara when she was a human priestess. I don't really care much for the flashbacks.
I like the character designs. They don't look generic.

Overall a good anime.

Fetish, everyone has them.

Some have broad and common fetishes like feet, breasts, abs, or thighs.

Meanwhile, others have very specific fetishes, like being treated like an ASMR mic, being treated like a dog, etc.

This anime is here to quench the very specific thirst of people with a fetish for wanting to copulate with a half-snake, half-human girl.

In short, this is another romanticization of a traditional monster and in this case, it's a Nure-onna, or at least something akin to it.

The anime's story and plot are mostly just a combination of retelling Dara-san's past, which is surprisingly bleak, and a present-day storyline where Dara-san is ... living her life like a modern-day human with the help of two perverted kids. It also highlights her encounters with some... peculiar individuals, to say the least.

Also, breasts. This anime doesn't shy away from showing nudity and graphic scenes.

So, if you like snake girls being cute and sexualized, give this anime a try.
