One of the best donghuas I have watched. The story is easy to follow and explained well, which is rare because many donghuas focus more on good animation than a good story.

What I like most is the power system. The show clearly shows how much difference one cultivation level can make. It also shows how hard and dangerous it is to reach higher Stages, so every breakthrough feels important.

I think season 4 improved in animation and CGI over season 1 and 2. The CGI was a bit awkward in the first two seasons. And in some ways I think story is also told better. I don't think I remember any logical inconsistency as I had with season2.

The cities look beautiful. The world building is good with different regions having different culture. I appreciated the attention to details. While the series often dropped the ball on young character designs, particularly the women, a lot of times I just forgot who is who as they often looked similar, almost like dolls.
