Interest Stacks  This is a collection of graduation projects, museum/art gallery films, and other experimental shorts. They generally don't contain any dialogue, and they're more focused around presenting artistic ability or sending a message than what most anime set out to do. They're generally all created by a single person, maybe a couple assistants, but not a big team. Commercial success isn't a driving factor in the creation of these shorts. Because experimental directors have recognizable styles I tried to avoid listing too many from any individual director. I think these are interesting to watch because they help show what anime can be.  This is a compilation of Avante-Garde music videos that are unique, mind-blowing and addicting. Each music video has a different animation and story to tell through abstract visuals. These will give you a different POV in the world of animated music videos. |
